Hoo-boy. Not in my experience, no... Lots of direct-to-video comedies to rent on VHS, though!

I picked up a Blushing Monk at Jack's Market last summer when visiting, so they definitely get the Backstage Series.

Well piss... I'll be in sunny California for this one. ISO someone to hook me up! This was my favorite from KBS release day :grinning:

First, TC tends to get their backstage series bottles later than the GR market. Second, BevCo is the best store to try, but everyone tries there first. Jacks is a decent choice, but they won't get as much as BevCo. If you get on the list at BevCo, call and confirm occasionally. I was the first to ask about CBS, and I never got a call. Same with KBS, and BevCo gets most of my business by FAR. You might try Francisco's Market as well (they are on the southwest side of town).

I'll likely be heading to the pub for the release, so you can have my TC bottles that I won't be needing.

Sounds like a deal! I'll be in the TC area through Thursday of that week. Do you think it's likely to show up there by then?

dunno. And they won't tell you until that week, probably. If I were you, I'd call tomorrow and ask them if they have a list going. Then follow up in the middle of June to make sure you are still on the list. Then call again in late June to check on delivery date and to confirm you are still on the list (again).

They picked a great beer and made the right decision to do it on a Monday! Can't wait.

I had the Frangelic Mountain Brown at the KBS release as well. I don't think it's better than KBS, however, the Sumatra Mountain Brown was pretty damn close to being more of a preference. FMB is very good (I snagged a growler of it at KBS release) but I prefer KBS over it and certainly prefer SMB.

I'll still be getting a bottle of this regardless.

Yeah, I have to agree. I've only had BA Sumatra Mountain at KBS day and that was fantastic. Frangelic Mountain Brown was a little too artificially sweet tasting for me. I'll probably try to pick up a bottle for a regular trading partner, but not really going to go search high and low for this one.

I can't be alone in thinking that this beer sucks. Adding coffee is one thing, but flavored coffee? Really?!? Had it at KBS Day, and it tasted like chemicals.

Chemicals eh? Atleast that is better than cooked celery. :sunglasses:
