Where is the menu? I looked for it on-line and can't find it.

I have definitely had them fill 32oz from the counter pressure machine. Last time was 3-4 months ago so process could have changed. I've only done 64 oz since then.

    How was the event?

On another note, is Higher Standard still on tap?

Event was great! Had a couple of cancellations due to the snow, but was well attended and the staff/food/beer were all fantastic. Had a bit of after-dinner fun at the Birdsall House as well!! And, yes, Higher was on tap and tasting great!!!

Wakeup Call!!!! The beer, that is. Had this one a while back, it was the first of Chief's hoppy/coffee collab.'s and was fantastic. New batch just opened and it is even better than the first batch, what a masterpiece! I highly recommend you getting some of this, you will thank me later.

New batch of Shotgun willy also on, pouring stupendous, and the new Malt Balls is an amazing hoppy brown ale.

Im bumping this one because me and the fiance are heading to peekskill this weekend for a little birthday get away. Anything new going on at the brewery? Ive checked out their current tap list online and it looks terrific. Looking forward to dinner at birdsall and brunch at the brewery. Ive also got fresh zombie dust, gumballhead and alpha king if someone would want to do an in person trade for some heady topper.

Anyone notice the severe price increase on their growler fills?

Would love to hear an explanation.

While I really enjoy Higher Standard, $26 for a 64oz fill just doesn't seem reasonable.

$18 for a 64oz of Simple Sour? Something went horribly wrong with their pricing, it seems.

I love Peekskill, but you are right, growler prices are pretty maxed out. Last time I was there in January, growler of HS was $20, now it is $26, that is a 30% price increase. That is a very expensive growler fill.

Anyone fill any 32oz. growlers recently there? Just want to clarify if they still do.

I haven't been there since January, but at that time I had no problem filling a 32 ounce growler. The price though wasn't half of the price of a 64 ounce growler. At that time price for 64 Higher Standard was $20, it was $12 for a 32 ouncer.

Also, 32 ounce growler is not filled from the machine, it is filled from the tap with a tube.

Thanks for the heads up. But what if you bring two 32 oz. growlers, wouldn't it be the cost for one 64 oz.?

Good question, I don't think I got two 32 ouncers of the same beer, but I am pretty sure I paid the 32 ounce price twice instead of the 64 ounce price.

Place makes great beer and I am thankful we have a great local brewery. But price is getting up there for sure.

Great trip this weekend. Food was terrific at birdsall and brunch at the brewery is definitely the way to go. Of the 9-10 beers we tried NYPA was definitely my favorite over and above amazeballs, higher standard and shotgun willie. My womans favorite was the wake up call (coffee forward pale ale). BTW it cost 18$ for a 64 oz fill of NYPA.

NYPA is a very good beer. Did they actually have Higher Standard on tap? It is not listed on their up to date beermenus. Is it possible you had Eastern Standard?

My mistake. It was eastern standard.

Thanks! Been waiting for HS to come back so I can shoot up there. Best Peekskill beer IMHO.
