    My neighbor snagged me a case this morning at 10 when they opened. He's not into beer so he had no idea what he was doing(thank god he got it right!) I tried to get info out of him but it sounded like there was very little left like two or three rows on a skid? I was just glad that he was able to score me some as I called yesterday heard the good news, then read the bad news on here that they had run out. Thank god I didn't tell him that and call him off. I prayed that there was an outside chance that they would restock some as he only commutes to Western on Mon and Wed, guess I got damn lucky!

    A couple of random stores in Minneapolis? I'd say "many stores" by now in Minneapolis...albeit at one or two bottle limits.

    I live 4 hours north and don't want to drive down to leave empty handed.
    I could bring down a growler of Shorts and some other beer on top of cash to repay the favor.

    My local store only got one case. The manager is hiding 3 bottles for me that I'll be picking up in an hour. One to drink now, one to age and one to send to my regular trading partner. Can't complain.

    Left the house in Chicago's western 'burbs at 545am CDT today; got home a bit before 1pm CDT with my case. Most happy, since last year I was only able to get a single bottle. Gonna have fun sharing this....

    @GRDave brought up a good point to me and a couple others in a text today. As you read through this thread, you know what's noticeably missing as compared to every other big beer release (BCBS, KBS, Dark Lord, Huna, etc.)? Bitching. Whining. Complaining. The biggest complaint I've seen since 2014 speculation began is the lack of knowledge as to when it comes out. There are no tickets to be sold out of, no lists to be shut out on, Bell's just quietly puts the product out there, and lets the word of mouth spread like fire. People are able to drive down to Bell's and pick up a case of this amazing, world class beer with no lines, no downed servers, and no issues. It's a bit bleak sounding, but when you don't give that consumer any hope that they're going to be able to secure the product or build up all that anticipation/entitlement, they're not as pissed as they would otherwise be because it's all about being in the right place at the right time. The blame is placed solely on themselves for not being able to go and get it as opposed to the brewery for not having enough server capacity or regulating scalped tickets or something like that. It's brilliant.

    I believe in the BNSS.

    You are so spot on with this.

    Was I disappointed when I heard that they ran out yesterday, yes. Was I secretly holding out hope that my neighbor was going to get a case for me today, Yes. Would I have complained about not getting one, NO. I can't just pick up and go down there I stay at home and watch three girls, that's my reality. It limits what I can get and when but that's on me not Bells.

    I got a BN case and a few other goodies at the General Store this morning. I had to agree to give my boss and my assistant a four pack in order flip flop work days. What a nice sunny day for a drive.

    I heard last week (3rd hand) that the release was supposed to be 1st or 2nd week of April. They definitely seemed clueless at the General Store when I was in on Monday talking to them about it so this makes sense. Bad timing for me but I'll get mine when I get home
