coming to Charleston, SC

    hey folks,

    ill be in the Charleston area the April 10-12(thur,fri,sat) and wondering what are good breweries in the area to stop into and also the good bottle shops with the good stuff :wink:

    also, if anyone wants to do an IP Trade, im looking to trade a KBS for a reg Huna if anyone is interested. or something like that.

    Go to Westbrook Brewing 1st, then COAST Brewing. Check out The Charleston Beer Exchange in Downtown, then Bottles and House of Brews in Mt. Pleasant.

    i can only get growlers of kuhnhenn beer, (they only btle for special events) im not sure what mead if any they btl, and they have wine they btl for sure.

    If you're interested, there is still plenty BCBS Barleywine at Total Wine. It's been collecting dust for months and there are still several cases sitting around.

    No lie. I was just there last evening and saw them, probably around 6 or so cases. Best part, they're only $17.99 a 4-pack (plus tax). Shoot me a message if you're interested in me picking up some for you.

    I'm not a big fan...I much prefer the regular BCBS. I only have 2 full 4-packs left (regular). :slight_frown:

    I prefer the regular too. I have one full pack of that and BW left. I know people love the coffee variant, but I thought it was a little too much coffee. It had too much of the bitter/sour-ish plain black coffee taste.

    The coffee was my favorite stout tied with ab cake until i had prop last week.

    I'm yet to try Prop, but I really liked Backyard Rye. Still prefer the regular.

    C'mon locals! it's COAST, not Coast. As far as Edmund's Oast....hope your wallet is fat. I'm not sure what crowd Edmund's Oast is targeting, but....They need to have better/more choices on their menu. Cheapest option is a $16 CHEESEBURGER! lol

    They're all out! I can't believe that they haven't updated their website yet since Tuesday. Also out of several beers on that list. They'll have a lot "un-happy campers".
