2012 Bay Area Parabola

Seems like the initial sightings have largely been in the North and (far) East Bay so far - that's where I've gone to buy up my stash, at least. I know that it should be showing up closer to home soon, but I refuse to be rational when it comes to Parabola.

 

Nothing in the greater SJ area so far.

 

Oakland recvd it over the last couple days. On tap @ beer rev today at noon.

 

Healthy Spirits in SF just posted this a few hours ago on their Facebook. "We're expecting Firestone Walker Parabola tomorrow afternoon. There will be bottle limits to give everyone a fair shot. Beer of the Month Club members may reserve bottles, but no reservations will be accepted until we receive the beer and post it here."

Hopefully this means the rest of the Peninsula will get it soon.

 

BevMo in San Mateo has it.

huh crap i must have missed it i was there today and they didnt have any. what time did you go by?

 

Grabbed a few at the Walnut Creek BevMo earlier this afternoon. I believe they had a few more.

 

aha went in today, theyve got their only 2 cases up by the register. 4 bottle limit/ theres still a case and 4 bottles left. looking forward to cracking one guy tonight

 

Anything in San Jose area/south bay? I swear I'm almost alone out here lol

 

Thanks guys. I just got a single bottle from Ales Unlimited in SF (its on Jackson x Webster). Not sure if they have any more, but it wouldn't hurt to call.

And I'm stalking Healthy Spirits and will pounce as SOON as they get their shipment.

Edit: They just had an update that the stuff isn't getting there til tomorrow.

 

Grabbed a few more at the Livermore BevMo today. The Danville store got some in as well.

 

I was there around 6 PM and the beer was up by the register.

 

Parabola is in the South Bay. Picked up 3 bottles at BevMo in San Jose @ Blossom Hill. As of 2 hours ago there were about 3 cases on the floor.

 

Nugget market got theirs today. Not on shelf you have to ask for it. $14.99 bottle

 

10 bottles left at San Mateo Bevmo. Just picked up 4. The guy was like "ehhh whatever" on the bottle limit.

 

Just got 3 and left 3 on the shelf at the Whole Foods in SJ on Bascom and Hamilton, and guessing by last year's release they probably have 1-2 more cases in the back. They didn't even put them on the shelf last year so don't be afraid to ask.

 

Bevmo Redwood City had about 3 cases when I left around 6pm today. No bottle limit. It's interesting, seems like a lot of the Bevmo's around here just threw it on the floor and didn't put in their online inventory.

 

They were down to 2 1/4 when I left at 7:30PM. $16/bottle.

 

They had 36 bottles in stock last night (after they were closed) when I placed my order. Checked again this morning (before they were opened) and they were out of stock.
