I could be wrong, but I think Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA currently has the most reviews on beeradvocate with over 3,000 (3,159, at this moment). Does anything top this? I can't seem to even find another beer with over 3,000. I'd like to view this top ten list.

EDIT: Old Raspy barely notches 3,000+ reviews. I'm assuming it's second.

It has been my understanding that 90 minute is the most reviewed beer.

Kinda curious what about 90 min makes people want to review it more than anything else. Why does it have almost 1,000 more reviews than 60min? If I were to guess, I would have thought 60min is purchased more. Just a hunch. Also interesting that it beats others like SNPA, Boston lager...

I think 90 minute might be one of the most impressive and accesible "extreme" beers to new BAs. That, and the fact that it is sold in packaging that touts it as the best IPA in America or some such thing...kind of makes one want to review it? dunno...

I went to beer styles and it shows the most reviewed for each style. Went through each style and made a list. I just added a correction as I am at work and overlooked one.

Interesting that all of the top 10 are American brewed beers, and no lager styles.
The top non-American beer is La Fin Du Monde with 2,395 reviews
Top Lager is Sam Adams Boston Lager with 2,248 reviews

I don't know about that. Certain areas(California) get limited DFH distribution, so we only get half of their year-rounds and 60 is not one of them. It seems like 90 minute is the more widely available one, plus lots of people that aren't even into it know about it. I know several people who aren't into beer who think Dogfish Head is the name of 90 minute IPA. It almost has the same kind of thing Sierra Nevada has with their Pale Ale

We get 60 Minute here in Orange County, CA, perhaps it's a NorCal thing that you don't get the 60.

I thought i remembered seeing 60 min in the bay area. Although 90 min i can find places where there isn't that good of selection and its usually the only DFH beer available.

Honestly, I would have been floored if a foreign brewed beer or a lager was in the top 10 considering how USA focused this website is.

I think you might need a premium membership on ratebeer.com (which is not as US centric) to get the full advanced statistics, but with the customizable top 50 option (filtered for beers with more than 600 ratings - all beers) here are the results:
    1) Rochefort Trappistes 10 - 3,219
    2) North Coast Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout - 3,053
    3) St. Bernardus Abt 12 - 2,806
    4) Two Hearted Ale - 2,452
    5) Rochefort Trappistes 8 -2,400
    6) Stone Imperial Russian Stout - 2,293
    7) Bells Expedition Stout - 2,222
    8) Westvleteren 12 - 2,163
    9) Bells Hopslam - 2,009
    10) Founders Breakfast Stout - 1,948

I would assume that 90 Minute is one of those "gateway" to hardcore craft exclusivity beers. 60 Minute is definitely the top seller for DFH, but given the price difference and fame of the beer, many people drinking it might not deem 60 Minute to be special or whatever.

When I first started drinking I though 60 Minute was great, but that 90 Minute was phenomenal - used to be my #1 favorite beer. It's a real eye-opening beer and as such might inspire people to go review it (feeling like they need to tell the world how good it is). Just my thoughts.

I know plenty of non-craft drinkers that will occasionally drink SNPA or Boston Lager so despite their success it doesn't surprise me that they're not #1 on this list, but makes perfect sense that they are reviewed a lot.

Dogfish Head 90 min. was my real intro into the world of craft beer although Sam Adams was the start of loving beer.It is funny that La Fin was an epiphany finally into craft beer and am still in love with that beer today more than any other although I have had over 200 beers since then some although not many on your list of 100 top beers.

I am surprised that Doggy Pumkin beat out Schlafly Pumpkin Ale for it's spot on the top 100 if for no other reason
than I believe S.P.A is the benchmark for pumpkin beer/ale

Wow in the last two years (due to the popularity of "Rate" instead of "Review" I assume), the numbers have skyrocketed.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute appears to still be on top, now with 11,411 ratings. Most of the other top IPA's and Double IPA's are approaching 10K as well. Seems crazy that Stone Enjoy By has such high numbers since it's a fairly new release.

Yes. It's definitely due to adding ratings, and the numbers are growing even more with the launch of the app.

My time ran out to edit, but looks like #15 should actually be La Fin Du Monde 7,631

So that's basically (11) IPA's of some sort, (3) Imperial Stouts, and (1) Tripel. Any we wonder why every brewery is trying to put out as many IPA's as possible.
