    Kinda what I was thinking.. No price on the shelf so I brought 1 up to the registrar & asked.. Guy says '9.49' I went back & got a second..

    I picked up a bottle at the whole foods in el segundo. The bottle didnt scan and after 15 minutes of waiting they just sold it to me for 7.50

    I was in the Santa Barbara area for the weekend and the whole foods up there had 3 or 4 cases. $16/17 a bottle I think.

    Had same issue at WF Mar Vista yesterday. Tons on the shelf...not in the system. They eventually asked ME how much it sells for and I just said $9.99 (wasn't trying to scam them...just first price that came out of my mouth). Bought 3 but haven't opened one yet though.

    I drank the bottle I bought last night and I don't know, I don't think it's all that great. I certainly wouldn't consider my self a barley wine style expert but this is no where near as good as Sucaba, BCBW, or even Stone' Old Guardian barrel aged.

    So there is plenty left out there for everyone else. :slight_smile:
