UGH! I've been so caught up with this missing package of mine that I totally forgot about mailing out my end. I'm on my way to FedEx now. You will not be disappointed.

Dude can you break it down for me cause im confused. You know where the box landed correct? Fedex told you the name of the person who signed for it too im assuming? So why not drive/walk/run/skip etc there and figure out whats going on? One has to assume that some clown answering the door is gonna have no use or know what the hell 08 oude gueuze is or any loons for that matter so its not like he knows he hit the lotto.
Im by no means saying your not trying or doing your best, Im just honestly confused at what the hell happened and wish I was closer cause I would help you get them back.

Okay, so at 4:30pm my box is "delivered" and signed for a person by the name HSIMPKINS. Around 6, I check and there is no box for me. But there are about 4 other boxes that have been (and still are) sitting there for a couple of days. There is no HSIMPKINS listed on any of the apartment mailboxes and I know 95% of the people in this building. No Simpkins.
I promptly call FedEx and tell them the situation and they say they will figure it out and that it's likely my package will arrive the next day. After calling them back the next day they say it's probably a case of the driver delivering to the wrong apartment building and it should be cleared up Monday.
Come Monday... no package. I call them back and they say that I should contact the sender and ask for a refund/replacement and that they are sorry for the mixup but there is nothing they can do. I stayed home and flagged down all three FedEx drivers: Ground, Home Delivery, and Express. None had any recollection of delivering this package here or anywhere else.
I've since talked to every apartment in the building and they all have no idea. I've gone so far as to check our dumpsters for an empty box... nothing.

Anyway, I've done all I can do. Tomorrow I'm calling FedEx and informing them they have lost a long time customer. One that uses their services at least twice a week. My thought is this is driver theft.

Good news though, I sent out my target's box and he should be receiving it the beginning of next week. All wants (or at least they were last I checked).

But each box is scanned and has a unique tracking number. This is scanned before it goes on the truck in the morning and then when dropped off to confirm so they must know who/what/when/where the box was dropped and should be able to provide that to you regardless if simpkins or godzilla signed. I hate to accuse people but it sounds like you got beat by the driver like you said but either way youd be able to find out who he is.
Ive been meaning to make it out to OH to visit a friend so if you need some back up "holla atcha boy"

Yeah, that's what I said. But I'm going through a tracing agent at FedEx HQ and he's calling the center in Richfield where my package came from because I'm not allowed to directly talk to the Richfield hub. They say the box was delivered, but say they can't specify where. Looks like I got slighted by the driver on this one and I'm just tossing in the towel after I give them a piece of my mind tomorrow. Sucks to lose some awesome beers (all wants) from my favorite brewery, but so it goes.

Thanks for the backup muscle

You're most welcome, but that's pretty weird. I was told that my target was Brewtifulmind, but apparently given your address. So those were Brewtifulmind's wants!! Glad they matched up with yours. 3 fruits, 3 wants, 2 different BAs. Whoda thunk?

So, Brewtiful, you get a box from someone else? Olympuszymurgus, we ok here?

It will be handled. I can ship up to Brewtifulmind if needed. Or meet up somewhere in SoCal soon?

If you guys meet up let me know, I'll buy a round of beers. If you ship it, let me know and I'll send out a shipping label or pay for it somehow. Whatever's clever.

Looks like we're going to meet up eventually. We will take you up on that beer offer though. I was thinking we can make the exchange at Toronado and share a bottle of Cable Car on you

I truly appreciate that you guys are able to deal with this and aren't getting bent out of shape. A stupid mistake on my part, my apologies. How much does a bottle of CC go for these days?

Keep us in the loop, Tyler, on the FedEx debacle. Sorry to hear of it, by the way.

If need be, no doubt a few BA's can get together (myself included) and ship bottles your way to right FedEx's wrong. No need for Onion to shoulder this, though he's generous and awesome for offering!
