Faust Tour/BA Germany Meetup

Sweet, thanks Danfue! That's a regular stop for me. I only can travel by foot unfortunately (or bus when I decide the trip is worth the cost), so no Atlantic Ale cases. But I was really excited to get single bottles of it and also the other Bayern/Franken beers I've tried so far.

 

@MattRiggs I keep forgetting to send you a beer-mail! I will be in attendance, it's just a matter of how many. Die Frau und das Kind will leider not be in attendance, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of making friends and bringing them along.

 

I'd love to do this. My wife said I could, but in a manner that said I'd better not.

Wow.. I just realised, that some of you guys have to live nearby - I'm Born in Mainz, now living in wiesbaden but working in a office in Weisenau (5min from the getränkehandel Ziegeler)
Maybe some of you like to attend to a Deutsch-American homebrewmeeting we just started in that Area?

 

The wife and I are 100% in - room booked etc.

And sorry, nothing at all worth bringing from Kassel in terms of beer;(

 

Our “club“ - if you want to call it that. (Bunch of random homebrewers drawn together, looking for occcasions to meet ) - is organised in a facebook-group so far (D.R.A.F.T.), just friend me on facebook, then I can Add you to the group to keep informed. (It's a “private Group“ therefore I'm only able to add facebook- friends)


Anyways would be great to have a meeting/brewday together. - we definately want to attend to your meeting in April.

 

The actual gathering deserves a thread of its own, come the time.

Hey, welcome! I live in Wiesbaden too.
I'm into homebrewing since a few months, actually my third brew (a Maibock) is just boiling away in the kitchen. Is there any other way to get in contact with the homebrewers' meeting since I don't have a Facebook account?

Starting a new job on April 1 and will have to work on that weekend. Maybe next time/next year if we get another meeting set up.

so Matt, 3 weeks out, what's the list look like? Did any of the DRAFT folks sign on? I saw a group on the hobbybrauer.de website brewed a communal Märzen, were you also in on that?

 

We just got back from 6 days in Belgium (Brussels & Bruges) with plenty of site seeing along the way. We're really looking forward to this!
