All bottles of all BA beers are sold out. Pineapple salsa IPA was the tits. Only a drop left but seems to be clogged with pineapple

 

A friend of mine went to the brewery today AFTER checking the website. He was pissed, because when he got there you guys were out of Pineapple Salsa and several other beers on tap. Also out of BA Skoon's. I just think whoever is responsible for updating the site, needs to do it every day. Last time it was updated was Tuesday...it's Thursday. I was gonna stop by to grab a couple bottles of BA Skoon's.

 

He probably could of called.
Expecting websites to be 100% correct, especially breweries, is kind of absurd.
People drink beer, kegs run out, no more beer to serve.

I think it is kind of unrealistic to expect everyone to give you up-to-the-minute updates on everything that is going on.

 

Why not? Eveybody's on their phones non-stop. Checking their facebook, twitter. etc, but they can't do their job? It's abd for business. He was there at 4. That means that they were out the day or 2 before. Don't give me that crap! No excuse for that! He was even told to check the website on what's currently on tap.

Didn't think a disagreement about what or what not a brewery should do about updating their website warranted that.
Anyways, I'm sorry if I offended you that much. It's just beer. I'm sure they will brew more.

 

While I agree it should have been updated neither I nor the tasting room staff has access to updating the site. The owners are the only people who have access to those updates. So unfortunately if they don't do it regularly there is nothing we can do.

 

I would love for westbrook to do an app like holy city has.

 

You guys just really bummed me out. Arriving from Chicago tonight and hitting Westbrook tomorrow. Wanted bottles of Skoons, to try the pineapple, etc. Guess I will need to bring extras for trading.

 

I'm sorry Mike, it wasn't targeted at you. I know you have nothing to do with updating the site. I remember you telling me that before. You work your ass of there and the last thing I expect you to do is update the website. Thanks as always!

If you really think brewery tasting room websites are updated every second of every day, you're dreaming. Imagine trying to pour beer for three dozen people, answer the phone non stop, switch out kegs every 30 minutes, field emails, FB messages, twitter replies, AND update a website all by yourself? Not to say there's only one person doing all of this, but only a few of them are, and website updates usually aren't as easy as deleting an entry either. Logging in, going to the correct page/field, making the changes, updating, it's not a five second thing.

I've been to CBX and Bruisin' Ales several times after viewing their current inventory, noting the most recent updates, and they're still wrong when I get there. Small businesses with limited employees don't always have the time to do every single thing all at once. Calling ahead is the only solid way to get up to date details, and even that can change in the car road over. Especially due to these releases being limited and highly sought after, there was no reason to expect anything to be available this late in the game.

Get off your high horse and quit crying.

EDIT: Atlanta area, for those concerned. Not sure about where else, however.

 

They must have heard your cries, because you'll be happy to know that on MONDAY, they listed on the website a beer they'd be releasing TUESDAY. Put your tissues away.

 

Interesting. Haven't heard from Savannah but they're not showing in inventory yet. Likely next week unless they just sent it straight to the allocated places without giving anyone else a shot.

 

I will ask in Savannah tomorrow as I was at both Habersham Beverage locations today and nothing was mentioned.
