Of the probably 10 places I called/visited today, 7 of them hadn't gotten it, 1 was sold out and 2 had 1 bottle per person limits. Each place that did have it only had 1 case, and the other places say they're getting it tomorrow. Managed to get 4 bottles total today between me and a friend. I think that'll do it for this year and the KBS tracking for me.

 

Plan B in Glastonbury is tapping a keg tomorrow at 5pm. Via Facebook.

Manchester Wine & Liqour? I stopped in at 12:30ish & asked if they had gotten any, was told no, and saw the fb post later in the day. I stopped back by around 430 & was told they just sold the last bottle.

If they had some set aside for certain customers I can understand saying they were sold out, but...damn. That sucks. (for me)

 

I was there right after you, I was told the same thing. Then I see the post that they still had some at 530? Kind of rubs me the wrong way about their practices now.

 

definitely didn't set it aside for special customers. i sent my father in to grab my 2, and he's far from a regular (doesn't drink).

if i had gotten more than 2 (one of which is going to my friend and brewing partner) i'd try to help out the people that got burned, but alas.

 

Hopefully will get a fou r pack. Two bottles for me and two bottles for my brother In Law. One beer manager said he would set aside a four for me, but I will believe it when I see them. If I don't get any, then I will buy something else

 

if they're really supposed to be selling them tomorrow, i'd hit M&R hard if i were looking to get more. and i weren't in new york city.

edit: also, i wouldn't be surprised if kay's (kaye's?) in east hartford gets them. as mentioned by someone else in a previous thread, they're really stepping it up in that little hole in the wall. the guy there (i think it's the owner's son?) knows what's up; definitely a genuine enthusiast. they got a ton of bourbon county, for whatever that's worth.

 

Yeah I second the thought on Kay's, although their prices can be a bit high sometimes. Still, I would check them out - yesterday the manager said check back around 2 today, fwiw.

 

Are you confirming because you bought one at Kay's or called the store? Jus wondering considering the previous post saying to check back at 2pm today. Cheers

 

They sent the email out at 2:20. I work a minute away so I jumped right over when I got the email. They weren't holding them for anyone special, they just didn't have them (or have them ready to sell) until after 2 p.m.

 

I was turned away at 430. Someone said they got one at 530 and there was still some left at that point. Maybe they had another case hidden away no one knew about til later. Oh well.

 

CT Bev Mart Newington has some. At least they did at 12:42. I had to ask someone and they had toget the manager but I got a whole 4pk for 25.99...

 

Ah that's weird. I've never really known them for being that way, but who knows. They send the email blasts and sell them, from what I know!
