Apparently Wilson! is a collaboration with Draught House

I knew they were working on a 20th anny, but Texas Common? A California Common brewed with Texas bayou water?

It's an Icon beer. Should be good, given the track record of the Icon series so far.

Correct! It's essentially a Hefe dry-hopped with Amarillo. It'll be debuted at the Austin Beer Guide release party at Draught House this Thursday (the 3rd).

Karl Kolsh is our 3rd Anniversary beer, which will be released at our anniversary party on May 3rd.

Pontius Pilot is the first beer we brewed on our new pilot system. We experimented with the technique of skipping the bittering hops entirely and going extra big on the flavor/aroma additions. It works. That'll probably be brewery-only.

Double Deuce is Heavy Machinery DIPA, but we changed the dry hops from Amarillo/Citra to Warrior/Simcoe. It'll be draft-only.

Hope you don't get much blowback on the name in bible country. Though if it's brewery only, you're probably safe.

I am fairly sure that is not their audience they are trying to go after in brewing beer.

I dont know. I went to Catholic school for 12 years, and those priests could throw down the wine and booze.

Saw Wilson! and Double Deuce on at ABW this afternoon. Didn't get a chance to try the latter, but Wilson! was just delicious.

I'm a Christian and have no problem with it. If it gives me to talk about two of my greatest passions (Jesus and beer), I'm cool. The ABW crew is great! Can't wait to try these!

Anybody else excited about the next RA Brewers' Cut being called a Grand Cru? I really hope that means they are taking this one to sour territory, especially given Real Ale's past sours (give me more Scots Gone Wild all the time)!

Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean it will be sour, could just be special.

Right, I know, which is why I said "it doesn't necessarily mean it will be a sour, could just be special." I just have high hopes given RA's history with great sours that this could be their sour grand Cru. But who knows? I'm just speculating! And hoping!

The label says, "an exceptional ale of unabashed character" which isn't really descriptive at all. I doubt it's a sour though.

After a fairly consistent run by TABC and getting the labels released, it seems they might have dropped the ball this week.
