Rattle 'n Hum had KBS flowing freely tonight. If you showed up at 6pm you'd have no problem getting as many pours of KBS as you'd like for an extended period of time. Cheers.

Donnelly's in Fairport, NY served a 10 oz pour for $4 yesterday - great deal!

I have no idea...but I when I shared the news with some local bottle shop owners....THEY WERE PISSED! The worst part is that they don't even advertise it. You just show up one day and see CRWnB on tap! Then you drink as much as you can.

I really wish you had posted this...you know...yesterday. Seeing as I live 15 minutes away.

(In fairness, I see they did post it on their Facebook page. Too bad FB doesn't actually show you every post from businesses - I had to go there myself to see the entry. Thanks, Zuckie.)

Cool meeting some fellow BA's for the first time at Fire Works last night. The KBS was good but I believe the Barrel Aged Reds Rye stole the show.

Look forward to seeing you at your next event Josh!

Definitely, it was good to meet a few of the guys on here for the first time and seeing some regulars of my share's as well. We ended up going to whole foods and getting a few glasses of Sump afterward.

Right around 5 it started to get slammed. I think pretty much everyone that was there by 5:05 or 5:10 got at least one pour though. They seemed surprised at the number of people... :astonished:

You might try the closest Wegmans to you: Downingtown?

Growlers Bistro in Tuckahoe, NY (Westchester County) had their KBS tapping event last night.

    Kicked in ~40 minutes.

ChurchKey is completely full of shit. Everything they tap is VERY RARE according to Facebook. Don't believe a word they say.

Yeah, I like ChurchKey and I've had a great experience every time I've been there, but the last thing the craft beer world needs right now is more fuel on the fetishization-of-rare-beer fire. And those kind of posts hold a lot of weight coming from them, it definitely turns me off to them in general.

I thought that's what "liking" a page is supposed to do. Are there seriously multiple steps required just to have someone's posts show up now?

Maybe it's time to just leave Facebook. When it's no longer simple, it's no longer worth it.

"Liking" them just means exactly that, you like them as a business, artist, etc. If you want to be notified of all their announcements, just turn it on. You get a little red # just like if someone comments on your status, and mobile pushes the notifications.

It's actually a very intelligent way to see what you want to see, and not have your feed cluttered up by what you don't want to see (i.e. 98% of what businesses, etc. post).

It takes literally 2 seconds to turn notifications on/off for a business that uses facebook as a medium to announce in stock availability of beer :-)

Or make an interest list on Facebook with only beer stores/bars and just bookmark that and check that separate from your regular feed.
