Firestone Walker - Parabola 2014

I am having trouble finding a bottle in the East Bay...going hunting again today

 

Does anyone know when this will show up in NYC?

 

I was able to score my 2 at the Citrus Heights BevMo last week, but thanks for the heads up. This is another great example of BAs helping each other out. A certain someone in the Bell's Black Note 2014 thread should take note!

 

What I have done is check Bevmo's website every couple days for all the bevmos in the area, and when they have stock, I bought 1 online and they will hold it up to 90 days for you. This is the only way I have found to get it since I work a ton. Unfortunately, you can only get one per store, but I have 3 at various bevmos to pick up when I can.

Also unfortunately, none of the bevmos in the bay area have any right now. I checked. But what's nice is you can set restock notices and it will email you.

 

It made it to the South Bay BevMos this week. Had to ask for it, not out on display. Called ahead and it was still there when I arrived, behind the counter.

 

U.S. Liquor in Long Beach just got their shipment. They have a few available. They do holds for people. They can ship too if you talk to the owner. Got my bottles! Text Steven at (562)606-3761

 

I wanna say it was the end of April, beginning of May before we saw it in VA last year...17th anniversary got to VA in January, after it was out in CA in November...so a 2 month lag?

 

Last year it hit NY/North Jersey on the 2nd week of May.

 

Anyone know the availability in DC or Maryland?

Just got my hands on one bottle! Should I save it or drink it this weekend? Never had it before.

 

I can't believe I had a way easier time getting KBS than Parabola this year. The world has gone mad!

For people in So Cal, Whole Foods on 5th and Wilshire, Santa Monica, just stocked the fridge with Parabola. I just picked up 3! Can't wait to try at least one and aged the other.

Priced at $15.99. i know pricier than Total Wines and BevMo, but had to get one while it last.

 

I called Total Wine in Tucson yesterday to ask if they had any, and they told me no. I took my daughter to the mall to get her prom dress last night, and figured I'd pay a visit to the store myself to see what's up. I asked the assistant manager who apparently recognized me, and he gave me the last one. I'm drinking mine on Easter Eve with my son because it is way better fresh, in my opinion.

 

Finally got one here in Phoenix @ total wine. Saw an empty box when checking out so I had to ask for it, they only had 5 left. I picked one up @$13.99 per bottle with a one bottle limit. Glad I finally get to try this I hope it doesn't disappoint. I sure it won't though:-)

 

A couple of Costcos in SoCal (at least down to L.A.) got it in at $11.04

so damn good.
