Anyone care to guess what the rdf allocations will be?

I'm guessing 3 RS / 6 HS. Or zero if the scandalous rumor of infection is true.

The infection issue is getting bad. This will be one of the worst.

Has anything this year actually been infected? Genuinely curious. I've not ordered everything.

The Peruvian Morning was infected this year. Oops, sorry. That's from a DIFFERENT otherwise awesome brewery with limited but frustrating bottle infection issues...

No, there have not been any widespread reports of infections in any 2014 Bruery bottles. Let's cross our collective fingers that we can say the same at the end of the year.

It was a comment that someone made on another site. It was one of those "heard it from a friend's co-worker's uncle's ex-wife's toddler who works at The Bruery" statements. I dismissed it out of hand, but since the allocations aren't out yet, I have a little more concern than I did.

    The Filmishmish tasted sour.

I'm surprised people aren't raving more about Filmishmish. This year's version is simply outstanding. I had a chance to do a blind test with it against West Ashley (didn't know what either bottle was in advance although I quickly guessed the Filmishmish) and everyone thought Filmishmish was significantly better. Tons of apricot with just a great mix of tart and funky sour to back it up. Basically a better, more interesting Cascade Apricot IMO.

Totally agree on Filmishmish, but sadly there was no "cellar sale" for it after the initial allocations :slight_frown:

Filmishish was indeed great. Have really been wishing they'd throw up some extra bottles on the store.

I suppose it is a testament to the amount of interest for it that there has been no secondary sale.

Or the quality control issues that have apparently been plaguing it.

I'd say that could be possible, but I don't remember anybody saying the beer was "bad". They just said there was puree jamming up the bottom of some bottles. If they were going to release extras, they could knock $5 off the price and put it out there.

When I picked up my Filmishmish early on I asked what the possibility was for additional bottles. I was told slim to none. I hope there's more but I'm not counting on it.
