Beat me to it! Thanks for the tip Franch, hopefully it will happen the same day I'm in the area.

Funny, I was just there about an hour ago too. I was hoping I'd get lucky but didn't even bother waiting around to ask someone.

The cheese guys are the people to ask. Or if you see anyone stocking the beer fridge. I know for a fact that a lot beer hunters frequent the WF because anytime they have BA biscotti, it's gone within a day, even at $24.99/bottle!

Good to know, thanks. I was able to score two bottles of BA Biscotti (one was for a friend) on a Friday and when I went in again on Monday it was gone. I go in there everyday during my lunch break since it's so close to where I work (less than a 5 minute walk) to see what they have but didn't really think to ask about KBS or Black Note given how small it is compared to other WFs.

I'm almost embarrassed at how often I'm in there to check for beers (I work on 55th and 3rd). For KBS, I must have gone in there at least 3 times a day :flushed:

Hahah, don't be embarrassed I'm in there at least once a day and sometimes twice cause I always forget to buy something I need for dinner. I work on 57th and 3rd so it's possible we've crossed paths before. It's funny though cause I feel like anytime I'm there I'm the only one in the beer section while everyone else is buying lunch/groceries hahaha

I'm the same way at Columbus Circle, since it's on my way home from work. That said, despite having the On Tap bar there, the CC store seems to struggle to get a strong beer identity. I feel like they made a shift to having a MORE broad retail beer section a few months ago, and more recently have been shifting towards having a SMALLER retail section. No idea what to expect moving forward.

I heard from a very reliable source, that 30 cases were distro'd to the East Coast, with a lottery to see who got them - 1 case each. I think WF is a different story though. I am happy to have gotten one bottle.

If you're in DC, Whole Foods P St. had bottles at the bar today -- there were still some as of 6:30 tonight.

Heard today that DC and the entire state of VA only got 25 cases...so it's gonna be very thin on disbursing that few bottles...this was from a disty rep too...

had gone in to WH Brooklyn a few times recently and kept getting told it wasn't in yet, then finally that it was supposed to come in today, and they'd have a 1 bottle/person limit. Didn't make it in till 9pm, but they were already out of it, surprised a whole case of it got snapped up from it 1 bottle at a time in less than a day.

Lots of talk about Black note in NY and this is the first year Bells Distributes to NY. What is really good? Show some love to folks who supported you with two hearted for the last decade.

That's why I don't buy Bells in Pennsylvania.

Yeah I mean throwing 10 years of "loyalty" away over a few cases of beer makes total sense.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the entire state of NY got like 8 cases. It's not like they are flush with it.

Clearly you don't get it... Bell's should only be serving their loyal locals in Pennsylvania...
