When I was there this morning for pick up, no. It should be on display now though I'm assuming. I was lucky and dropped in for some groceries around the time they opened which was when they were having it loaded in the back. Apparently they received 4 cases from an agreement to sell some other TJ summer beer that was overstocked at their own warehouse. They weren't even supposed to get it, or at least that's what I was told.

Just finished a bottle ....so smooth and rich!!...makes me wish I purchased more than 2 bottles!!
When I opened it...I was watching CNN...I just finished and Billy Idol is on blast...yea it's that good.

 

Finally started hitting East Bay Bevmo's......though some are already sold out.

 

It's definitely all over SD now. Picked up six bottles yesterday at various locations around the county.

 

People's Liquor in Bellflower got Parabola in today!

 

for all of the OC peeps, Laguna Beach Whole Foods had some today.. not on the shelves though... there should be some left tonight. i got 2.

 

Also OC, Total Wine in Laguna Hills had a bunch in the fridges. Not inside the cold room, but inside the fridge doors along with all the other 22oz bottles.

 

Culver City Costco really hooked it up.

 

Vendome Pasadena got at least 2 cases in.

 

Bevmo Santa Monica has a couple of cases. It's not displayed, you have to ask. Was able to get 2.

 

What's this whole non-displayed business that stores are doing? I hate that! If it's to limit the amount of purchases just put a goddamn limit 1 or 2 sign on it. This makes the whole beer scene so secretive with stores hiding bottles to people who specifically ask for it. Wheres the beer love?? Spread it!

 

I think it is to prevent people from taking bottles and hiding them throughout the store so they can come back another day to get it.

Too many times though i go to my regular spots and i don't even know they have anything or i get someone that doesn't know what their talking about and doesn't even know of anything in the back when I ask. Its a pretty annoying policy. Amazing Grapes by me does it best by sending out a mass text to people letting everyone know the gems that came in and their one or 2 per. They do have way less stock than say a bevmo but there has to be a better way.

 

Yeah, they should put up a sign of what is behind the counter.

 

Not that I ever did that. Really.
