Saw a trade thread in the ISO/FT forum about this beer and looking into it a little more it sounds as if this has been brewed by other breweries besides Cigar City. True? I would love to get my hands on these from as many breweries as possible. Any help or info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

From what i have found, it is not necesarily the same beer (style) some do IPA some have done Ales. But it is to raise money for wounded vets.

I believe its only on tap at CCB at the moment. Bottles have not been released as of last night. The CCB version is aged on maple wood Louisville Slugger baseball bats.

Ya its a really cool cause and I love the fact that its aged on bats. Any idea if any of the other ones have been brewed yet and are available in bottles? Ultimately I would love to obtain every bottle available of this (one from each brewery). It looks like bottles of the CCB version were released yesterday- http://beeradvocate.com/community/t...led-5-17-12-iso-nice-stouts-sours-ipas.19270/. Also any idea on prices? Appreciate the help!

$9 for a 750 ml bottle and they were available for purchase last night in the Cigar City tasting room.

My bad. Last FB post I saw from CCB said it was released on draft and there was more to come on the bottle release so I didnt head up there to check.

Yeah, I saw that too, so stopped by just to try it super-fresh. On my way out, I saw bottles in their fridge so asked about the price. Now that it's brewery only, I may have to pick up a few while I still can!

I just got a few bottles of Homefront IPA by Saint Arnold in Texas. The IPA is pretty decent. Moderate bitterness, slighlty citrusy and finishes clean. I would love to trade a bottle or two to obtain a sampling from all the participating breweries. Anybody have any to trade?

The Fremont version of this is available on LetsPour if you wanted to order it... Kinda pricey for just one bottle if you dont do the 6 bottle/free shipping deal though
