    Sorry for the stupid question, just moved to Oak Park from IA this weekend.
    Are the beers released today going to be available in stores today, or just at the brewery...and stores later this week?
    Thanks in advance.

    They should start showing up in stores/on shelves any day now (if they aren't already on them). The beers aren't sold at the brewery, at least not yet anyway. So go enjoy yourself some PWs.

    gerrits weirdo smoked stout maybe?

    i had a bottle over the weekend. im hoping it was just a bad bottle. bc in the 12+ years of drinking craft brew this was literally my first drain pour. it had a sour bitter medicinal flavor that was just bad bad bad. i really think it was just a bad bottle tho, bc i enjoy most of pipeworks crazy beers. i will prob just avoid that one from now on lol.

    I haven't been keeping count, but I skipped the first sweet potato beer and coconut abduction, ba Jones Dog, and ba last kiss are sitting on a shelf unopened, but otherwise I've had every beer at least once, generally the first batch. I've also picked up additional bottles (and/or) subsequent batches of ones I've particularly liked.

    Had, and thoroughly enjoyed a Down Unda, last night. Keep up the good work and keep up the great distribution to the western 'burbs.

    @Pipeworks

    The Mint Truffle was intense. It's super key to drink this one at a higher temperature. Flavors burst through then. Barrel-age this one, please.

    Impressive! be sure to grab Toasty Nut when it comes back around; a lot more coconut than Proprietor's IMO - if barrel aged it would take down that blue labeled swill head to head (ok so Prop wasn't swill but added for effect)

    Toasty Nut by far is my favorite pipeworks beer. That stuff was amazing.

    Sorry, that is an oddly constructed sentence at the beginning of my last post. I have it, but I just haven't opened it. It's actually on the shelf next to a bottle of proprietors. I've been thinking about opening them together next time our tasting group has a quorum.

    After having the sweet potato porter, I did wish I hadn't been so quick to assume I wouldn't have like the first one.
