Grabbed a Gose from my wife's "hidden" stash. It's from last season's batch, but I think I like it a little better. It's still sour, but not as salty.

what does guava taste like? Tropical fruit taste?

 

I don't think the latest is that salty, maybe that's just me.

 

This actually hit my shelf here recently. Whats that you say? Late to the party? Hey, down here in MS I am glad to have even been invited. This is drinking nicely too, by the way. My second one this evening.

 

Hard to describe, but, yes, a little. My grandparents had a guava tree in their backyard, so it's kind of a direct memory.

Wesbrook Gose...my first of the style. I hate wheat beer unless they have some tartness to them, which this one fortunately does. I like it.

I have nothing to compare it to, but drinking my first Westbrook Gose right now, which also happens to be my first gose styled beer, and I don't find it to be that salty either.
