    I picked up two in the past week: KBS and Black Note. A happy week indeed.

    The main ones require I travel or trade, which I'm just not likely to do:
    Dark Lord
    Pliny the Younger
    Heady and the rest of the Vermont local brews
    Jester King limited edition sours
    Belgians without U.S. distribution

    But perhaps more than these, the one that I've sought but not gotten:

    I think it's ltd. to 300 bottles total per year? And 60$ to get one out the door on release day @ Toronado SF, I would be content to have a pour.

    La Crosse Lager in a bottle. I've only seen 30-pack cans since the mid-2000s but recent photos on the Interwebs give me hope that the package still exists.

    What I'd really love to see slain is the bloated, loaded term "whale" itself. Just the epitome of the ridiculous U.S. obsession with treating beer as a competition.

    Until recently Hommage was up there...happily, my store got some the other day. Current goals, alas, are still extensive, but to name a handful:

    New Glarus VSB
    Fou'Foune
    DDG/Cable Car Kriek (met Tomme not too long ago and got to talking, so here's hoping...)
    Atrial Rubicite
    And last but probably first and foremost in my mind, anything from Toppling Goliath

    Probably Pliny the Younger just so I can say the top three rated beers on this site are extremely overrated. Maybe even throw Pliny the Elder into the mix just so the top four beers are overrated.

    I have 4 whalez bro, cbs, rare, king henry, and any Captain Lawrence sour. I keep getting close to the CL but trades seem to fall thru. I have an ip trade pending, but my wife thinks I'll get stabbed
