Looks like this month is Nelson, next will be Duet, and Pure to follow. One of Alpine's regular accounts (either O'Briens, Toro or Hammy's) got 5 kegs this go around. Had 2 pints at my local bar on Wed and it was glorious.

Gotta love Alpine; kegs of Nelson are being tapped up and down the California coast, yet they are out of it at the brewery (along with bottles).

Tapped a keg today. It's legit, tastes Iike Nelson brewed at Alpine. I'd even go as far as to say that it's one of the better batches of Nelson I've had in a while.

I enjoyed the glass of Nelson I had when I stopped by City Beer Store in SF yesterday. First time I had it on tap and the hops were very fresh compared to the bottles I've had in the past.

Just so refreshing that not a single person came in to complain about how Nelson "wasn't the same". It tasted great. +1 for Alpine

Had Nelson at both Beachwood and City Tavern this weekend. Tasted like it always does, amazing

Yeah, $15 per pint. No shit ... they are charging $7.50 per 8 ounce pour, LOL.

Glad I got a couple of proper pints at Blue Palms yesterday for $6.50 each, will never return to Out Of The Park pizza because of this money grab.

Really? Christ. They really like to capitalize on sought after beers.

I saw some people post some pictures on Untappd and I'll just add that it looked like murky bright yellow OJ. I've had Nelson more times than I can count and it was never more than a little hazy. Just something I noticed, obviously no big deal because not many people were really even mentioning its appearance

A little hop residue was noticed on the bottom of the glass on my first pour. But it was just freshly tapped. I believe the second glass. I thought it was "spot on." Looking forward to some more soon. Then Duet and Hoppy Birthday. In the meantime Enjoy!

So I own out of the park pizza and we are serving 12oz pours for 7.5 a more than fair price for an amazing beer. So these lies about $15 pints is bullshit. I believe in serving good beer at a good price if you don't like it then don't come here, But don't spread lies just to hurt my business.

You owe the entire BA community an apology, this kind of misrepresentation is almost criminal.

You should go talk to the bartender who was working at 12:30 today then. 8 ounce pour for $7.50. That's what she was pouring and that's what she told everyone who complained about it. I also sent Alpine a message about your price gouging, so FYI on that.

I owe no apology, I stated 100% fact. Why would I lie about it? It was an 8 ounce pour for $7.50. I and a friend both got 8 ounces (half a pint glass), we both questioned it, and were told that's all they were doing. It was the same for everyone ... the bartender actually started telling people in advance when they asked for Nelson that they were only doing 8 ounces.

IF they have since upped the size of the pour then all BA's are welcome for me getting them an extra 4 ounces. I obviously got their attention.

This is a pic of the 8 ounces, roughly half a pint glass (same as she was giving everyone). I literally thought the keg had blown when she handed me this.

And don't call me out again dude, I think I deserve a little more respect than some guy with two posts who contradicted me out of his shame for trying to rip off the community.
