Kahns Fine Wines downtown location is no longer. Their last day of operation as a Kahns was this past Saturday. The location and liquor license have been sold to Big Red Liquors, who will be open this upcoming Thursday. That leaves the Keystone location as the one and only Kahns Fine Wines.

Good things are always better by the ounce than by the pound.

Sorry to see you guys get consolidated, but I hope that means you can focus your efforts even more. I wish nothing but the best of luck to everyone at the Keystone location.

Always stop at kahns when I am Indy. Always recommend others stop in to see you guys. Admittedly, parkingat the downtown location could be irritating. I wish NWI had a bottle shop of Kahns quality.

Agreed. I visit my girlfriend in Indianapolis almost every weekend, and I always go to Kahn's first thing on Friday. Its amazing to me that NWI doesn't have anything close in quality.

On imports alone, Kahns humbles any NWI bottleshop.

Things should run a little smoother now, not that it was utter chaos but it's always difficult to get people at three stores to tell customers the exact same thing regarding special releases.

Upsides: No more splitting alotments, no budgetary restraints, more case stacks

Downsides: I'm now literally the only person in the beer department

Keystone, the main store, is definitely still open. Unfortunately I will only be here until 2pm that day, gotta head up to Munster myself.

I'm not sure what the plans are yet. The wife works on Thursday night so I'm going to come home and wake her up, then go pickup Paul H and his fiancee, then head up. Hopefully we can get out of Indy by 4:30.

Keystone is about 15 minutes north, you can take Keystone north for a couple miles to hit 465 to shoot you up to Munster.

Which one is the closest to the Upland tasting room? I stopped at that location when I went down to pick up allotments a few months ago, very nice selection and I received good assistance from the guy working in the beer dept.

The Keystone location is the store near the Upland tasting room. And that was me so I'm glad you appreciated the service!
