The Bruery just posted this on there RS page:

"Tickets to a very special and limited event will be going on sale this coming Monday. Please keep an eye on your email Monday morning."

It was accompanied with a picture of the crown from the 3 floyds logo.

Would they be selling tickets if it was going to be at Out of the park pizza?

imho i think bruery should just do the 3 floyds event at their "original" tasting room where the black tuesday events used to be held years ago.

I hope they would move the event to a better venue than Out of the Park Pizza.

So someone on FB just posted this about the 3 Floyds event. "RS members get 1 ticket + 1 DD $50/$10. Food by Outta the Park Pizza. Includes 10 tasters & RS/3Floyds logo taster glass. Can pick up Rue D' Floyd allocation at event."

So as a Reserve member I can't bring one of my friends (1) to drink with me?

If so, that's stupid unless you have a buddy that is an RS member too.

Cool, makes it even easier not to bother going. No extra tickets and $5/Taster. I guess this will be nice for the few RS members who don't trade?

Wish they had just cancelled this "event" and had the kegs at anniversary.

it must be a Fire Marshall decision. Or they want to make it a quaint experience.

Cant have 3k people in a restaurant.

    cheers

If this event is true, it's kind of a strange decision. Weird to have a $60 anniversary party immediately followed by (or preceeded by) a $50 3F party. Wouldn't it make more sense to just incorporate the kegs at the anniversary party? They'll obviously make a lot more $$ from a second event, but I would think it would be more important to have your core RS/HS members excited and appreciative for the biggest event they have. If the 3F party has BVDL or other variants, I'm sure I'll whip out the credit card, but if it is just the normal 3F offerings then I'll my conserve funds.

I'm sure that it probably will. I still think it's weird to have two high-priced events just two weeks apart.

And selfishly, I'll be disappointed if it's announced for dark lord day. My wife and I are expecting and our baby shower is the same day. What are the odds that she'll let me reschedule? :grinning:

I was going to say. I'm an RS member and I don't trade (well, only in person so far) so this seems like an okay idea to me. $50 seems a little steep but I'll wait until the information comes out.

    Guessing no additional tix
    Someone asked
    "How many tix for Hoarders??"

Comment from the same person who posted the prices stated "you'll be lucky just to get in, so one"

After messaging this guy about how he got his information, he advised that he works at OOTP...

They're killing it on social media. If I was The Bruery, I'd be really stoked about OOTPP giving snarky responses to my society members on my Facebook page.

WTF did they choose that place in the first place. Can someone explain?

Actually the comment about "you'll be lucky..." seems to have come from "Jeff Hood" while the earlier comment with details came from "Robert Richardson"

If I were The Bruery, I wouldn't be too pleased with the venue taking the wind out of my sails in terms of announcing the basic info for the event.

Would be nice if as a result of all this, Bruery actually listens and brings these types of kegs to the anniversary party next time.

Yup... A $60/person price tag pretty much should have this, only makes sense.
