I forgot discussing pricing on here is taboo.

I think $12 for a 750mL of something available in a counter pressure filled growler for 1/2 the price is overpriced, if you disagree more power to you.

In the meantime, I'll continue to get 20L kegs for $70, which is a great price!

I would assume that most of these bottles will be purchased by beer tourists for trade bait. Locals will continue to go with growler fills as we have in the past.

or by beer tourists to drink I drive up and always stop at Lost Nation. I come home with growlers but growlers are supposed to be drunk quickly. It would be nice to pull out a bottle and get the gose in a reasonable state say a month after going up to vt especially in winter.
not everyone buys just to trade. Don't think badly of us who visit and appreciate the beer you are lucky enough to have access to all the time. its certainly cheaper than having to go to our craft beers bars and pay $6-7 a glass and then pay tip on top and easier - no drinking and driving.

It's great to hear that you will be purchasing the Gose in bottles to drink at home and hopefully not trade. Hope to see you there tomorrow. Enjoy!

Loved drinking this every time I was in VT. Guess I can add my name to the ISO list if someone gets an extra of this.

Sadly I only get to be a part time local. I'm thrilled I get to take a couple of bottles back to PA that will keep for a bit. I showed up around 11 and saw the Fox News truck and thought "uh-oh", but it turned out they were doing a piece for their local "untapped" series. There were a few folks at the bar, and Jamie took the time to have a long chat about the beer. These are the kinds of bottle releases I could get used to.

This beer is fantastic and really a different beast than the draft version. Delicate with so much complexity and depth. And very classy with the cork/cage and label.

In terms of price, from what I gather they are simply not set up for large scale, economical bottling. Just a two spout manual filler. Lots of labor goes into each bottle. But as a previous poster mentioned, still quite a bargain compared to some other VT bottle releases. Stick with the growlers for everyday drinking but don't miss the opportunity to try this beer.

If somebody has an extra BM me. Loved having this on draft on the few trips I've made out there so far this year.
