I guess seasonal save me from burn out but I was in no rush for Odell's Red to leave the shelves. Same will be said for Deschutes Red Chair after this month.

I love seasonals but summer is pretty lame. I mostly just drink IPA's, Hefs, or Gansett Summer.

Come October, love me some pumpkin ales, along with german marzens.

After thanksgiving: All those malty, spicey, roasted, chocolatey "dark beers", and most importantly celebration! I hate winter but its the best beer season.

Me, I'm a fan of all seasonal beers for the season they're in. Except for hefeweizens - period (maybe I just need to find the right one?).

I too was sad when I bought the last 6-pack of Odell Red at my local supermarket. :slight_frown:

I'd like to try SN Summerfest...also I'm glad SA Noble Pils is year round.

Seasonals suck. I feel like I have to buy them or I won't see it again for another year, so I always end up buying too much beer. Plus I feel like a lot of regulars I enjoy get passed over usually because there is always some kind of seasonal I 'need'.

Do try SN Summerfest. I had one a couple weeks ago, and really enjoyed it. Most everything SN offers is good. One of my favorite brewers.

Generally, I like seasonals. My only problem with them is that they seem to be released too early. For instance, SN Summerfest, their summer beer, started showing up in Pennsylvania in early April when Spring was just two weeks old. By the time Summer rolls around, I probably won't be able to find any Summerfest!

Thanks; will do. I really enjoy all of the SN beers. Great quality and value. Torpedo may be THE best beer for the dollar available anywhere!

Narragansett Summer/Porter and SN Celebration are the ones I really look forward to. I like to dwell in alot of other seasonals though because they are almost guaranteed fresh.

I like seasonals and seasonal variety packs! I'm waiting for summer offerings from many breweries including 4 local breweries!! I'm looking for Pilsners, IPA's and Wheats!! Plus the odd beer in a variety pack that wows me!

The Summer Styles variety 12 pack by Samuel Adams just arrived at my beer store yesterday! I'm gonna be buying this for sure!! The Noble Pils and Whitewater IPA are great!! And the Belgian Session is the surprise in this pack!

There are definitely seasonals I buy and look forward to every year especially in fall and winter. Celebration, OSA, Jubelale, Old Jubilation, Full Sail Wassail, SA Winter Pack, just off the top of my head. Hey we're less than 3 months from the Oktoberfests .

Agree with you on Torpedo. I'm having one right now, in fact. It's a staple at my house!

Except for Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier. That's easily the best beer in terms of dollar for oz you can buy, IMO. Its $3-$4 for a bomber where I live.

I don't drink the spring and summer brews, they really don't do much for me. I do like the Winter stuff with the exception of Pumpkin brews.

I think summer is the worst season for seasonal beers, good time to catch up on my favorite ipa's and pull a few imperial stouts out of the cellar a little earlier then I originally intended!

I'm down to my last Blackout Stout in the beer fridge, very sad indeed. Ahhhhh such a rich, full flavored treasure...that really needs to become a year round offering.

Aprihop is a pretty good spring seasonal IPA. It's fresh and light.
