Wanna know a secret? Regular Hunahpu was better this year. Probably rarer too oddly enough.

This year's batch should be coming out in a few weeks. You will want the fresh batch if you like the spicy kick! There should be plenty on the trading block next month.

Cherry Rye has been on my list for quite awhile.
Might actually try to put up a FT:ISO one of these days.
Will probably instantly regret it when I get told I don't have enough ammo.

    Good on ya, dude.

I've been thinking that part of my beer future (within reason of course!) will be hooking people up with their Mobys. Will be a fun part of the beer world, I imagine.

Now that I think about it New Glarus Eisbock would be a personal whale for me.

Pretty much any IPA from Hill Farmstead - just a four hour drive and a three hour wait in line away.

After that, Tree House Julius (somehow this has escaped me) and Double Sunshine - again, so close but so far.

Lawson's was hard to find. That 's what's true. I mean headdy was there if you could get there in time. Be at such and such a store by what time and you were guaranteed some headdy. But lawson's . . . yeah not today. . . . I got 2 of the permagrin rye pale ale. NOT the double sunshine and I was happy to find it. I even think it's a good beer but I will leave that for my second bottle and the review. The gold around the top of the bottle was like a gleam in my minds eye and why doesn't lawson's want me to have double sunshine?

After years of drinking, trading, drinking what I got in trades, I can say now that I do not have a White Whale anymore. The current scene in Casper is fine for me and my getting to drink beers from ALL over Wyoming via a Growler station? In my book, that can't be beat.

The only whale for me has been King Henry, took me almost a year to land it, hell I even slayed Rare before KH. Finally landed KH on black friday, and in person no less!

Since then nothing has quite motivated me.

Probably been said, but I don't have one. Kinda getting intrigued with Toppling Goliath because they make my favorite styles and I find it hard to figure a place in Decorah, Iowa would be this well regarded if they weren't good.

Until recently some of the Cantillons were my 'whales'. I have been lucky enough to get them at my local shop. Obviously not crazy vintages or anything, but Fou Foune, Iris, St Lamvinus, Vigneronne and Kriek. So I guess what I've had in mind for a few years has been Leon, Church on a Hill, and Rare. I haven't sought them too in depth, but they are beers that I would very much like to get my hands on.

    i dunno about all that....

'14 huna was certainly miles better than '13, but i'd still rate DB ahead of it.
