Andechs in SEPA?

Out of all of them, I'd say that the Hefeweizen is the hardest one to justify the price. It's definitely a quality beer, but it's not all that different from other available top quality versions.

Don't let that dissuade you from trying the others, though.

Unfortunately, you guys are getting older beer than I am, for whatever reason. All of mine have been the 3013s (and I just double-checked both a Doppelbock and Dunkel Weissbeer in the fridge just to be sure), and I have had no issues with them.

Gotcha- I guess I missed that.

Hopefully things will get better once they have a system in place, but that is definitely a good bottle. Please post back when you open it.

The Buy Rite (formerly Circle Liquors) in Pennington, NJ about 5 minutes from the PA border has the Doppelbock, Weissbier Hell, and Weissbier Dunkel. The Doppelbock and Weissbier Dunkel are $3.99 and the Weissbier Hell is $3.49. I didn't pick up the Weissbier Dunkel, but my bottles of Doppelbock are labeled 3293 and my the Weiss is 3013.

 

Bottled in 2013 in late November and late October respectively. Enjoy.

 

I'm familiar with the dating system, I just wanted other prospective buyers to have an idea of the freshness on Buy Rite's wares. That said, I tried out the doppelbock tonight and it is exquisite.

 

It most certainly is.

 

I thoroughly enjoyed drinking my Andechs Doppelbock. I sure wish that I could buy it for 4 bucks.
