Weekend trip to NYC

    Just wanted to thank everyone for their tips in this thread. I'll be in Parsippany, NJ for work next week and plan to spend the weekend in the city hopefully hitting up MANY of the suggested spots. That is if I manage to get to Manhattan from Parsippany on Friday night without a vehicle... :confused:

    The bus should bring you right to the Port Authority Bus Terminal- not too far from a lot of places mentioned- just ask for details at whatever hotel you are staying at.

    If you do take the bus, make a beeline for Pony Bar, man. Great little spot with affordable beer and a great, ever-changing selection. It's a sausage fest all the time, but a good place to start drinking.
