Currently I am in Nashville, leaving for Destin, Fl in the morning. I will be driving through Birmingham around 10, any recommendations for a store to visit to pick up some Good People Brewing? As close to I65 would be requested. Also, any input would be appreciated on a particular Good People I should make sure I get while in the area. Thanks for the help..
Not sure how convenient to I65 it is, but I always stop in Hop City when I'm in B'ham. If there is any Snake Handler around you should definitely pick some up.
Hop City is indeed great, but definitely out of the way a bit from 65. Depending on the time you'll be passing through, the brewery itself is quite close, as are Vulcan and Dee's. I preferred Dee's a couple years back, but haven't been to either since Hop City opened.
Too bad I didn't see this before. Could have stopped at Whole Foods in Cool Springs which is right of I-65. They have Good People IPA and Brown I believe.
the brewery is right there off 65, but there's no direct sales in AL - any beer to go will have to be purchased from a retail location, not the brewery
