I'm trying to get everything listed on the PCBW site today, it's a bit cumbersome and messed up my initial upload.

We won't be pouring any BN draft during the week, but some accounts will likely be releasing their BN bottles - although it's up to them on when/how they release them.

Currently I don't think we'll be pouring any of our barrel aged releases during PCBW, although there's a slight chance that could change. It won't be BN though....

We will be pouring 'Bull in a China Shop' which is a limited, pub exclusive barley wine. It will be poured 4/30 at Smiling Moose along with 4 other drafts and 5/1 at Harris Grill for a co-event with my buddies from New Holland.

4/30 we'll have a firikin of Two Hearted at Wexford Ale House and for Real Ale Fest II: Full Metal Firkin we'll be pouring Special Double Cream.

Our site is always the best spot to see the happenings in the Pittsburgh area Bell's events as I update it often as soon as events are confirmed.

Thank you for the heads up. I appreciate it and will try to get down to smiling moose for your event there. I'm guessing you work for Bells? Great brewery! I heard of BN bottles being released and heard of one spot that has it around here so I may try there. Hopefully I can get my hands on a bottle to try somewhere soon. I will be sure to check the Bell's website too. Thanks again

I bloody well haven't. I've yet to ever see a physical bottle of it in the city period.

I like a solid bit of the PCBW events I looked at - Caliente especially seems to be rocking that week hard - I'll just be at the mercy of my work schedule which is never kind.

I checked the calendar again today and there are a fair number of events that have been added. Unfortunately outside of those at Caliente, the PCBW "signature" events, the majority are the same type of events as in years past. I also noticed a lot of these events are being held at places that are not highly regarded craft beer bars. I've come to the conclusion that the organizers of this either have their own agenda or simply have no idea what they are doing.

Anyone know of events on 4/27 worth hitting? We might be coming back through from DLD and wanted to see if there is any fun events happening that Sunday Night.

Dang, I am actually going to be in town on May 2nd leaving May 3rd and would love to get a bottle of this but at 500 and limit 4 there's no way I would be able to. If any BAs would be willing to pick one up for me I will gladly reimburse you the cost or if you want some beers from the SEPA area I could do a trade. BM me if interested.

Holy crap, I actually have the weekend off now. And no bloody clue what to do with it. Heh. Caliente on Saturday night for the KBS tapping I guess.

On the fence about Caliente's KBS tapping. Not really a place I would want to watch a Pens game at, and their non-happy hour prices make my butt hurt.

Does anyone know how much they will be charging per draft?

been to a couple limited release beer events at Caliente. I like the place a lot and plan to check it out once or twice for PCBW. That being said, i can say that stuff like bourbon county and lost abbey deliverence were pretty much a dollar an ounce since they were each 9 or 10 for a 10 oz pour. I imagine KBS would be around that

I actually legitimately think there was just a miscommunication about what was supposed to be on this flyer. At least that was the impression I got.

It was a miscommunication... originally we had different event locations, bottle limits and start times....

    I can say with assurance that kbuzz is 100% correct- 6:30 start, 500 bottles ... 3 bottle limit ($11 a bottle) ...

Sorry for earlier misinformation...it's been a bumpy ride.

Also, there is NO film screening at the bottle release... even though the Post Gazette reported that today... that is not happening.

I'll pay it. Honestly, despite living just up in Bellevue and being eight minutes away I literally go into the city three times a year tops, that's how much my job tends to suck my life up. So even if you told me it's $12 a pour and that Seamus from Family Guy will be serving it with his peg arms, all I need to know is that there will be KBS on tap and a Penguins game on the TV and I'll be there. That is literally the closest thing to a vacation I'll be taking this year.
