My friend at a bottle shop says that the Toasty Nut Abduction won't be out as scheduled. We'll get a Mocha (dark matter coffee) Abduction instead. Toasty will come later, apparently.

Which barrels were used for the aging? I'd also love to know which were used for previous batches of jones, last kiss, and murderous

I have a batch 75 to do a side by side if you want. Also I can lug those TNAs with so we should definitely coordinate.

Batch 75 says buffalo trace barrels, same as 209.

Opened up both just now for a side by side.
75 has a strong bourbon flavor, but it isn't hot, so I like it.
209 is on the next level though. Definitely among the best of the best BA stouts I've had.

    Great job guys

So digging through some boxes of my cellar for DLD, I found some old bottles of End of Days (Batch 12) and Abduction (Batch 41). Anyone have any idea how these are tasting now?

I was wondering that, too. I grabbed a BA Jones and Murderous the other day. I've had BA Jones before and loved it so I figured I'd put one in the basement and see what happens, but reading all of these great things makes me reconsider. Maybe I'll bust it open this weekend and see if I can pick up another to put down there on the shelves.

Is there any BA Last Kiss floating around? That might be the best beer I have had in years.

I have a Batch 1 Koval Whiskey Barrel Aged Smoked Porter 20%. Kinda just want to hang on to it since I helped Kickstart them and figure it would be a good memento. On the other hand, has anyone tried one of these lately?

Haven't seen it in a week or two.

Side note: I haven't drank mine yet, but I plan on doing a 3-way: Backwoods Bastard, Wulver, BA Last Kiss tasting soon!

I've heard from 2 separate stores that the new batch of ba jones dog was aged in 30 year heaven hill barrels. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
