Founders all over the state, Against the Grain appearing, at least in Central AR and the big boy Evil Twin beers showing up again. 365 days ago who'd have thunk it.
Anyone seen Against the Grain beers anywhere outside of Little Rock area ?
    Cheers to the Natural State

I went over to Little Rock early today for a Evil Twin/ ATG beer run. Picked up Imperial Biscotti Break BBA, Double Barrel Jesus, reg Imperial Biscotti,Bomb!, Bible Belt,35K,Citra Ass Down, last 4 pk of Breakfast Stout I saw, plus a few others. My wallet is hurting but my body will be thanking me.

Grabbed my first Founders today: Centennial IPA. Couldn't get the Breakfast Stout ("sold out"), but hopefully soon.

We didn't get any breakfast stout over here. Haven't seen any in MO for months, so maybe it was a case of timing?

Yeah, probably. They didn't really seem to imply that someone came and bought all of it, just that the truck didn't have any on it. Same with the Porter, which is a bummer.

Walton Liquors in Bentonville and new Guess Who (Macadoodles clone) in Bentonville both had the Porter and Brkfst Stout. Rumor is Kentucky Breakfast Stout keg at Press room in Bentonville next Tuesday night (4/15)

Loved finding these beers this morning. I think Founders is a gamechanger for Arkansas & Oklahoma for that matter. I hope this proves to a catalyst for quality beers coming to both states as opposed to a lot of ambigious (sic) second rate crap sometimes foisted on us:grinning: I was gonna names, but probably shouldn't

I presume a little lost in the wash with Founders. They are pretty good, maybe should've ventured North a few years ago when this area was less populated with good beer IMHO...

We are having a huge influx of new beers in South AR. Timberlane Wine & Spirits in El Dorado is bringing in dozens of new beers to this market -- ones you would not think there is a demand for down here but there is. And not just from me. Today, there are very few beers I can't get from my local shop that are distributed in Arkansas thanks to Chris and the Timberlane crew. They are even planning to add a growler filling bar once it becomes legal.

Off the top of my head here are some of the newer breweries on the shelf:

    Piney River
    Evil Twin
    Prairie
    Marshall
    Summit
    Sudwerk
    Core
    Choc
    Unibroue
    North Coast
    Moylans
    Local Option
    Fort Collins
    Breckenridge
    Tommyknocker
    Tallgrass
    Charleville
    Schlafly
    Stillwater Artisanal
    Green Flash
    Sour Power
    Piraat
    Petrus
    Monk's Cafe
    Founders

In addition to the usual Rogue, Diamond Bear, Pyramid, Boulevard, Lazy Mag, etc.

If you ever find yourself "stuck" in the butt-end of the state, there is an oasis of non-ass beer to be had on Timberlane Drive.

I just moved to Little Rock and there is one good thing about being in this state. There are not many competing beer fans for the better beers. So you don't get the distribution that Chicago or San Diego gets but at least the beer stays on the shelf more than 5 minutes.

Also if anyone wants to do a bottle share in the little rock area hit me up. I just moved from Chicago and originally from California so I have plenty of good beer to share.

Cool...I need to go back and check them out again, it's been a few years since I went in that store...the main reason we go to El Dorado is to eat at Mel's Seafood, which is right across the street.
