Rochester Craft Beer Expo

I've gone the first two years. Not sure if I will go again this year, but more than likely. Most of what gets poured is out of bottles and cans, with the occasional keg or firkin. I go to try things I haven't picked up in the store and what ever is pouring from the firkins. It's usually a good time, some good people are there. Make sure you have a sober ride, you will drink a lot.

Tallgrass brought their 'A' game both years IMO.

 

No official brewery list yet... anyone else going?

 

If you check the expo website you'll find a complete and comprehensive list of breweries and what they are bringing. I have a printed copy in my mailbox at work.

 

I see the 2013 list - but can't locate the 2014 list (still says will be posted closer to event)

 

They said it will be posted closer to the event, so I read that as next Friday or the day after it happens. Who all is going?

Well, looks like I'm in.

 

I will be going again this year, I've been to the first 2 years and I have family in Roch that like to go which also gives me a place to crash for the night!

I don't see any info on what each is bringing though.

It is a good Fest, there are plenty of rinse stations and some brewers bring some great stuff, Surly, Tallgrass, and Bad Weather are 3 that stick out to me from last year.

I hope they move it back to the original space this year, last year was a little too small.

 

I should have mentioned when I asked, but I'll be there with my wife. And her brothers, and their significant others. Hopefully for year three we get some good stuff. Tallgrass has been the best the first two years IMO.

I'll be there as well. Brothers Bar & Grill is one of the sponsors and is having a booth showing info on their great tap takeovers they had in 2013/2014. Brothers is starting to get a reputation for great takeovers and I know they have no thoughts of slowing down. Lovin' their Red Chair on nitro right now!
