@blacknyellow20 It's on their Facebook page for the event. Google will help you find the info even if you don't Facebook.

I really wish I was going, wait I wish I was a keeper. This sounds like a lot of butt hurt will be happening to Keepers, who used a trustee.

Curious - did this email go out? I didn't receive it. I know, I know ... I'm antsy. Totally understand if details are still being worked out, just making sure I didn't overlook / delete something.

Yep, I got the email yesterday. Details are the same as what he posted before. During the member session the limit is 1 per bottle per member, guests need to wait in the regular line. The beer list is on their Facebook event page.

Do we know prices for the bottles? I will need to make sure I have enough cash on hand.

    • Bottle Pricing: All of the Imperial Bu bottlings will be priced at $10/bottle. All of the Desay variations will be priced at $14/bottle.
    • Payment: As always for our events, this will be cash only, and we do not have an ATM on site.

I wonder if de Garde would be willing to hand out numbers for the line a little before noon so that Keepers and their guests could attend the party. I'm guessing there will be a line by the time the Keeper's Party starts and it seems like a lot of people I've talked to are just planning on staying in the public line with their guests.

Any chance of numbers....Pretty please? I think this would make everything run a lot more smoothly.

This would be so much better. I'd really love my guest to be able to hang out with me and not have to bail after a short while to get in the line.

    Great idea.

We are considering numbering the line at just after noon as a possibility.

This would be great, thank you for listening to potential recommendations to help make the event as streamlined as possible! Numbering for those in line at other similar events (Dark Horse 4Elf party, as a good example) has proven to be successful in the past!

So, I've read through this thread several times now, and I still don't have a feel for what to expect on Saturday. I'm not a "keeper" member, and mostly I'm just interested in attending the celebration/fest that starts at 2:00 (for us hoi polloi). If there are still some bottles available by 2:00, then I'd be interested in buying some, but I don't want or plan to stand in line for several hours for the privilege. So for those of us who are just there for the party, do we have to stand in the "purchasing bottle line" regardless, in order to get in; or will there be a seperate entrance for those who just want to get their tasting glass, and then sample some of the fantastic beers that will be on offer for the event?

    Thanks!

(my apologies if this is spelled out on the Face Book page. Unfortunately, I don't have access to Face Book at work)

I presume there will be an admission line where you pay $15 and get your glass and tickets. Once you get in you have the option of going to the bottle line or getting beers. Any potential admission line delays will depend on whether that bottle line snakes outside the entrance or can be contained within.

    Save the date!
It's been a fantastic ride for this first year since our beer hit the market. In celebration of our first anniversary since we were fortunate enough to share our beer with all of you, we're hosting an anniversary party on May 3rd at our brewery in Tillamook. To celebrate, we're kicking off the next year with a number of bottle releases and a fantastic selection of taps, both our own and some limited releases from other favorite breweries.

Public admission for draft will be $15/person (this includes your very own glassware to take with you, and 3 beer tickets)
Additional tickets will be $4 each - 1 ticket per pour (approximate pours will be 10oz, some less/some more depending on ABV & cost)
No entry cost for bottle purchases only.
Please remember this is a CASH ONLY event
We do not have an ATM on site.

Beer List (bottles are $10/per for Berliners and $14/per for others):

Imperial Strawberry Bu Weisse (bottles and draft, ~375 bottles)
Imperial Hop Bu Weisse (bottles and draft, ~450 bottles)
Imperial Apricot Bu Weisse (bottles and draft, ~400 bottles)
Imperial Cran Bu Weisse (bottles and draft, ~500 bottles)
Imperial Plum Bu Weisse (bottles and draft, ~200 bottles)
Imperial Vin Bu: Merlot (bottles and draft, ~200 bottles)
Imperial Vin Bu: Tempranillo (bottles and draft, ~200 bottles)
Imperial Vin Bu: Melange (bottles and draft, ~200 bottles)
Fleur Desay (Chardonnay barrel aged Gruit, bottles and draft, ~400 bottles)
Saison Desay: Side Project collaboration (Pinot Noir Barrel, bottles and draft, ~350 bottles)
Saison Desay: Side Project collaboration (Chardonnay Barrel, bottles and draft, ~400 bottles)
Biere de Garde (Port Barrel, draft and Keepers bottles)
    Loak (draft only)
Imperial Vin Bu: Chenin Blanc (draft and Keepers bottles)

Bottle sales will be limited to 1 of each variety per person until everyone has had a chance to purchase, at which point repeat purchases are possible as inventory allows.
We will be rotating through taps throughout the event, so not every beer will be on at any given time, and many of these are single kegs, so likely will go quickly.

    Guest Taps:

Logsdon Farmhouse Ales: Peche N' Brett
Cigar City Brewing: Brandy Barrel aged Hunahpu
Engine House #9: Anniversary Wild Blend
    Block 15: Sticky Hands
Block 15: Blend of Super Nebula & Imagine Imperial Stouts with Tart Cherries (name tba)
    New Belgium: La Folie
    J. Wakefield Brewing: TBA

This event will be cash only in an effort to expedite transactions and keep lines to a minimum. There is no ATM on site, so we encourage you to plan ahead.
Our licensing does not currently allow minors of any age on the premises at any time.
As always, please let us know (RSVP) if you are attending so that we can plan and staff accordingly to provide the best experience possible.
    Cheers!

    And from email to Keepers:
    • Draft Beer: Draft beer will be ticketed. Throughout the event, and upon entry, Linsey will be selling draft tickets. Pour sizes will vary depending upon the beer, with the majority being 10oz. All tickets will be $4, and all beers will be 1 ticket. Keepers and their guests will receive their members glassware at entry for use during the event.

Many thanks! One clarification request, if anyone knows.... Is the RSVP request just for the keepers, or for everyone planning to attend?

That initial blurb with the bottle info was posted on their facebook page, so I assume they want as many RSVPs as possible to help gauge the level of craziness.

Is anyone really worried about showing up around 2pm and not getting bottles? I figured I'd be fine getting there at 1:30pm since its 1 bottle per person and 200-500 bottles of each but some of these posts are stressing me out!

Does anyone know how many keeper memberships there are? 200? Let's say that 70% can make it and all buy bottles, that means that for many of the beers there will be a limited number for sale outside of keepers memberships. My uneducated guess is that if you get there at 1:30 you will certainly get bottles of the 400 / 500 bottle releases but maybe not the 200 bottle releases.

I've decided not to stress over what I get in terms of bottles. Skip the bottle share, drink what's on tap, and be happy with the bottles I get. One of the beautiful things about de Garde is that they release a lot of brews. If you miss out on some of the bottles now, there will be more released in a month or two - guaranteed.
