Rubaeus and Breakfast Stout worked pretty well for me, I think BCBS and Rubaeus would work even better.

I can't drink Prairie Somewhere by itself but it makes a great addition to other wild ales that just don't have enough funk for me.

ST Choklat + Cigar City Brewpub Malted Milkball Peanut Butter Stout = Damn close to a Reece's Peanut Butter Cup

I imagine this would work well with any decent peanut butter stout.

I normally don't blend unless a beer is undrinkable on its own, but I accidentally mixed Clown Shoes Blaecorn Unidragon + Great Divide Chocolate Yeti. The vanilla from the Unidragon complimented the chocolate and oak flavors of the Yeti perfectly. Both beers were pretty good by themselves, but together they were great.

I can say that some beers are magical together. I will also say that most beers would never go together or should be mixed at all. And some are simply to expensive and/or impressive to mix, and should be enjoyed solo.
But there is magic to be made here, each according to his or her own taste.

I won't do it. IMO, if you're mixing beer with beer, you should be drinking better beer to start with. A great beer stands on its own.

Are not the Firestone Walker Anniversary beers blended beers? They seem to have turned out all right. I see nothing wrong with experimenting with blended beers as long as you recognize that not every experiment is going to turn out well. But as FoamInnovation said above, sometimes there is magic to be made with blended beers.
