If you remove Popovich I'd take CP3 and 4 http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/392/1566's against that 5. If you don't remove Popovich I'd take the starting 5 from the Clippers over the 5 you named. That being said I don't expect the clips to win more than 2 games and even that might be a stretch

I'm a bit nervous for the whole "wounded animal" thing in Game 4, Miami might be able to steal back home court. Been a great series so far though!

You have a sound theory. Pop is probably the only active coach who could have gotten the team in their current state of health to where they are. A lot of credit goes to their Gm buford as well, completely revamped the team from a year ago after the playoff loss to memphis, bringing in castoffs like captain jack, diaw, and having the stones to deal away george hill.

Miami is screwed. Everything is going wrong at once. Boston is getting so much luck.

From what I've watched of Boston so far (other than that last game against Philly), either Indiana or Miami should be able to handle them.

I wouldn't go that far, they still have another home game guaranteed, and the pressure is on a young Indiana team to close out last year's champs from the East.

Either way it works out I'll be happy. I'd rather lose this round though

Big win by Miami last night. Pacers broke my heart

Should be a really intriguing game 5, as the Heat proved they need Wade and LeBron to play some of the best playoff basketball in NBA History to beat the Pacers so while the Heat have some momentum, the pressure is definitely on those two to just go completely mental again to win as the Pacers will be hungry for it, hopefully that didn't kill the wind in their sails.

Lebron is averaging 40 minutes a game this postseason after a condensed season in which he played 37.5 MPG. I'm not saying he can't keep this up but thats alot of wear on those legs and as a bulls fan I've seen what that can do to a start player

Whoever wins the West is taking the trophy this year. I still think it's going to be OKC (sorry crawfordesquire), but I'm also still very wary of a major injury...

Haha, on which part of my post? That whoever wins the West will win the championship? Or that OKC will win the West?

Well, the Lakers definitely had their chances in that series. They have a long offseason ahead of them. Can't say I'm upset though since I despise them. :grinning:

skipjack17, just started a convo with you for your incoming box. Crawfordesquire, thanks for running the BIF. Good luck to you both in the next round, should be a good one!

I think of all the possible match ups in the West, OKC vs SAS is definitely the most intriguing. Classic Old vs New scenario, really looking forward to it, especially after how easily both teams beat out their respective LA opponent. More importantly, can't wait for the game tonight, likely will decide the series.

Bos v mia and san antonio v okc may be the best possible conference finals matchups, even better than mia v chicago, just because boston is very likable, whereas mia is so easily disliked.
Okc and san antonio are complete opposite in many ways. Scott brooks is a very handsoff coach whereas pop is not.
But both teams have explosive offensives and shoot the 3 well. My prediction is spurs win in 6 games. Miami beats boston in 7.
