Anyone else see that this was on the distro list for Hunterdon this week?
I'm definitely ISO. But I hear that the whole state got only 10 cases...

    Anyone have any sightings?

Also: called Joe's in Woodbridge, said they didn't receive any.

10 cases for the whole state? That's rough. I was actually going to call Joe Canals Woodbridge in a few and see what they say.

Did you make sure you talked to a beer manager? The employees that answer the phones usually don't know anything and give the wrong information.

But 10 cases? It's going to be very tough to get any whatsoever.

That's what I thought. The info came from a friend who orders for a store and that's what his rep said.

I didnt talk to the manager. The girl seemed to know what I was talking about, but it wouldnt be the first time i received false info from them.

DC Brau on the wings of Armageddon?

The only place I'm aware of getting in the DC metro area in cans is at DC Brau...I bought 2.5 cases last May, then 4.5 cases beginning of January...need to get a couple cases of the latest batch, canned on 4-15-14 I think

We can't even get them to distribute in DC, VA or MD, and NJ suddenly gets 10 cases? Wtf...

I was there on Saturday, my cans are labeled 4/11. According to DC Brau (both explicitly through the automated e-mail message regarding OTWOA and via first-hand word of mouth at the brewery last weekend) they don't distribute the cans, I have never seen them anywhere in VA.

It has been available on draft at several places that I have seen, maybe some sixtels were distributed to NJ and not cans? Or maybe they did allow a few cases out, but it certainly doesn't happen often.

Buddy of mine knows one of the reps at a liquor store, the beer buyer, texted him and his response was that they are getting it, but not this week...a liquor store in Middletown...

Need to go get some...wish they'd sell cans during the week, I've heard they do, but no first hand knowledge that they do...great trade beer too...

It's fantastic fresh! One of my favorite dipa/imperial IPAs!

I have a very hard time stopping at one, it's usually a 3-4 can nite which leads to trouble for me...because then I go into the cellar and start pulling out bigger beers...

This same buddy also knows a rep at Hunterdon too and is going to reach out to him as well...I'll update when I know more

I was told by a rep at the AC beerfest that this was happening, but I didn't believe it.

I know Philly got a small allotment of cases a couple months ago, that's a fact, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that ten cases might make their way to NJ. Hoping CT is next!

It's in MD as of last Wednesday bros. I grabbed some at Shawan. They had the new DC United beer too. OTWOA was like $16ish a sixer, so not cheap, but wow.. so so good.

OTWOA was $19 at DC Brau last weekend. It's good. But damn. That's a lot of money. I'm not sure if this is a mistake or what. But if anyone gets shut out, I can probably spare a few.

It was the left over cases from AC beer fest, it may be returning in the future though. It isn't that great of a beer anyway.

Text from my buddy this morning from his contact at Hunterdon:

"They brought it into the state for AC Beer Fest, and we had a few cases left over, so a few accounts on the western part of the state like Joe Canals got some"

Not that good? How old were the cans you got? Had 3 different batches in 2013, it's awesome, to each their own, it's a step down from pipeworks or revolution DIPA's outta Chicago...

So basically the majority of the state isn't going to see this. Why does Hunterdon even bother putting it on their release list if it's not a official release and just leftovers from a fest?

Wow, harsh. Maybe the time you had it something was off. Seems a lot of people do like it..everyone gets their own opinion.
