Oskar Blues Gubna started out GREAT with only Summit hops, but now uses a blend. Still good, but I liked it better when it was exclusively Summit.

Citra Mantra is all Citra I'm pretty sure. Pretty tasty brew.

None of the pipeworks beers are actually single hop. They just showcase a main hop. Their website shows the ingredients used in each beer.

It seems there is a lot of confusion as to which beers are actually single hopped and which "showcase" a particular hop but are blended. IIRC Pipeworks has indicated in some of their threads that the Ninja Series is not single hopped. I also spoke with Against the Grain at a tasting and they indicated Citra Ass Down is not single hopped, just the main hop addition at the end of the boil. Unless explicitly stated/marketed as a single hopped beer, I'd assume most are a blend, particularly with what I've read about competition for hop contracts.

Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale (100% Cascade hops) is one of the most solid pale ales in existence. I consider it a benchmark pale ale if not the most solid one out there. Great thing is: it's year round and not a special/experimental batch. ; )

That said, I've had some great single hop IPA and IIPA brews but I emphasize Mirror Pond since it's more readily available for my fellow BAs to give a try than some off-shot phenom from a local brewery.

Agree. Single hop series are flying dogs best brews. The Amarillo I had a few days ago was good but I enjoyed several of there others more. Just a little duller on favor but smooth and balanced none the less.

Flying Dog once made an all Centennial IPA that was only available in variety packs that was absolutely outstanding. From what I understand it was part of a series to determine what their Single-Hops would be, but it wasn't continued afterwards, was one of the best beers I had had at the time.

Flying Dog has a semi-annual release of single hop IPA's with the hop changing every time. Right now it's Amarillo.

On a similar post from a couple of weeks ago I was told that Founders Centennial is apparently not single-hopped. Prepare for the onslaught of corrections

Stone Ruination is for all intents and purposes a single hop beer. They use a generic high-alpha hop for bittering like Warrior and/or Columbus and then add 100% centennial during the whirlpool and dry-hop for the flavor and aroma. This is according to the head brewer Mitch Steele in his book 'IPA'. Stone Arrogant Bastard utilizes all Chinook hops although the dark caramel malts really accentuate the resiny character so that may not be what your looking for. Another you may be able to get is Weyerbacher Double Simcoe. Hope this helps.
