To be fair, a bottle of coffee has NEVER looked more like beer.

Agreed, hence a lot of the confusion. I can see this becoming the next logical step in the assimilation between beer and coffee. Brewers already collaborate with coffee roasters, why not bottle coffee/espresso aged in already used barrels, put wax on top, commission some label art, and charge $12/bottle?

Not to get off topic too much, but I totally agree. Water Ave Coffee in SE Portland is already selling oak aged and pinot barrel aged coffee beans by the bag. It completes the beer --> coffee --> oak triangle.

Wait - this is from Chicago and they didn't figure out a way to include "Ninja" in the name? Dark Matter Coffee's Cognac Barrel Aged Unicorn Espresso Blood Ninja Blend is WAY more Chicago.

Or you can just not pour any bottles (coffee or otherwise) directly outside the brewery, bringing potentially unwanted attention and issues by authorities on de gardes big day. It's kinda like smoking an e cig right outside the police station, or a blunt rolled with tobacco, and having to tell every cop who approaches you that it's "not weed." Just save the bottle sharing (alcohol or not) for inside, problem solved, no potential for unwanted attention by police, no need to say "it's just coffee even though it looks like beer outside a brewery"

In order to not attract attention, I recommend said bottle be placed in a brown paper bag while it is being consumed.

I think the REAL question is: How long until we convince Trevor to change the name of the barrel room to, "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood." Then, at every release, he could show up with his hair parted to the side. And be rockin' a gangsta' ass cardigan. Maybe have a random trolley bringing him beers now and again.*

Oh. Wait. He already got the memo..

Think it'll be ok to bring cans of Diet Coke to drink? Looks an awful lot like Coors light.

The guy has a point; at 22 shots of espresso per bottle, it probably does qualify as a controlled substance ...

Hey what address will the party be at? I am getting conflicting info. The 1909 second St. is what it says on beerservedrare.com, but others are mentioning some Blimp Ave. address. please confirm!
