3 beans and the crisp. Crisp is the best pilsner I've ever had by far.

So, Hi Res has definitely been my favorite Sixpoint beer to date, it was as good as any of the greatest beers of 2013 and I will always buy as much as I can afford whenever I see it, but I wish I had access to a more "exotic" selection of Sixpoint brews. I hardly ever see anything other than Sweet Action, The Crisp, and Resin. Resin is good, even great if its fresh and well taken care of, but much more often than not it's been sitting warm for months and that's just not worth the money. 3Beans was very good, but probably a little too expensive. Diesel was good, but I haven't seen it in many months. I just don't see a lot of variety from Sixpoint here in Columbus, which is a shame because I feel like Sixpoint should be one of my favorite breweries, but I've only gotten to try a scant handful of their beers.

Never say never, but for right now, we are doing this as a draft-only offering for this year

    Time flies, but Hi-Res was a 2014 release! :-)

The core beers we invite you to revisit - all of them have been improved in several ways. Cheers.

LOVE Autumnation, although distribution in NoVa has been spotty the last couple of years - in fact, not sure I saw it at all last year.

Had no problem finding Autumnation 2012 last year and absolutely adored it! Never found it (2013) this past fall in the Louisville/So.In. area and it saddened me deeply.

and while I am on it....Six Point is my favorite out of state brewery and my local shop used to carry 4 packs of nearly all the lineup for $7.99!!! I ate it up...esp. Bengali and Sweet Action! Now they don't. Aggravates me to death....so now I pick it up in Louisville and it's $9.99. Just one of those things.

In MA sixpoint is on the low end of the price scale for craft beers. Four pack of resin is $11. Four pack of 16oz cans of crisp, bengali, sweat action, etc are $10 also. I'm guessing the sixers of bengali will be about the same when they get here. For comparison, four packs of stone tend to be close to $15 and and average four pack is probably $12ish and sixers are about the same. Pretty much the only thing I enjoy that I can get for $10 is sixpoint and 4 16oz cans is pretty darn close to a sixer.

I'm wondering if upstate NY has really great beer prices or if sixpoint is more up there for some reason?

I know down here in taxachusetts beer tends to be a little more pricey than elsewhere

Was it? Lol, I guess time does fly. Anyway, I'd still say it stands up to the best that 2013 had to offer, and I'll also add that it compares favorably against Head Hunter's Hop Juju of 2014. Time will tell how Hi-Res fares against the rest of the year!

Recipe tweaks? If you've changed things, maybe I will have to revisit Bengali Tiger. Last time I tried it I preferred Resin because, to me, it just tasted like Resin-lite. Have you done something special to it to give it more of it's own identity? Sweet Action was already good, what did you improve about it? The Crisp I actually have never tried (I don't think), so once I have the cash to burn I'll give it a go.

Hi-Res, Bengali, Global Warmer. Dollars per ounce, and taken on their own, these are fantastic beers.

I would recommend downloading our Sixpoint App. It will tell you exactly where Autumnation (and any other of our listed beers) are in your area. Its a useful tool!

You'll have to let us know which store that was. Please send us a private email to info AT sixpoint dot com.

Let us know if you see the 6-packs in MA for more than $9.99

Bengali Tiger is definitely not "Resin Lite" Our new formulation has a lot more citrus character to it, with more subdued herbal flavor. There also is a lot more pronounced floral spice to it. Contrast that with the Resin, which has a ton of pine and citrus, and strong bitterness to it.

Sweet Action and Crisp are both improved in terms of cleanliness of flavor, and hop flavor and aroma. I also think they "look" better as well. But I have a biased opinion. :-) I'll let you be the judge!

Can't wait for you to try some of the new ones. :-)

We are actively working on recipes right now :-)

with a portfolio as big as Sixpoint's, it's hard to say which is my favorite. But I always seem to come bcd to Bengali Tiger.
