I just drooled all over my keyboard. I wonder if this is what my wife really wants as a Mother's Day gift. Hmmm.....

Had the Coconut Bohdi at the Cleveland Winter Beer Fest back in February. Amazing! Wish I could make it down for this.

Definitely could have picked a better day for this...I doubt my 8 month pregnant wife would be a willing companion. Happy Mother's Day sweetie, you watch our kid for a few hours while I go drink.

I really want to attend, but the Mother's Day thing is a deal-breaker. Seems like somebody didn't consult a calendar when picking the date.

Do we just show up or do they email us our tickets?

^ We paid shipping & handling, so I'm assuming they will come through the mail. Take your receipt/confirmation number just in case.

The tickets are mailed - mine are on the fridge as we speak. I'm not sure what they will do if the tickets don't arrive in time, but I imagine if you take in your receipt you will be fine.

Well, she can bring at least one kid with her.

I got my hard copy tickets in the mail at least a week or two ago but I also bought the first day you could.

I'm sincerely sorry for hurting people's feelings when scheduling this event. In working with the venue and our own calendars, we did the best we could with what we had to work with. There are only 52 weekends a year and seemingly an infinite number of festivals, etc for us to squeeze in.
We were hoping the 3p start time would allow for quality time with Mom beforehand....or maybe bring her with. Could be fun?!

For those that do come, we thank you and hope you have a good time.
    Cheers,

No need to apologize, buddy. Mother's Day requires an out-of-town visit for me, so any start time will be too early for me. I'm sure there will be plenty in attendance, and I'm sure it will be a great event. Hopefully there will be another event with Bodhi variants in the future that I can attend.

This was a super fun event. I wish I had time to talk to a lot of the people that were there but it was not event that worked liked this. I had so much fun and tasted a lot of great beer (the Coffee Bohdi? Wow). It sounds like the only time something like this happens so I consider myself lucky to try so many variations of my favorite beer.

I did win win of the raffle prizes and my shirt matched up a lot with my avatar ( I was not in the row that won EVERYTHING, Just in front of them). Overall I will try to make more of these tastings as it was a blast and I got to take home a howler of my favorite. If i missed you, I hope I see you at the Jackie O's relase later this month and I consider myself lucky to drink so many great beers with a lot of great people!

It was definitely a blast - I don't think I met any of you, but I enjoyed the hell out of the Pineapple Bodhi. That one is DANGEROUS.

Coconut is still my favorite, though, and I can't believe we were able to get growlers of these!

Everyone I talked to had a different favorite. I guess that speaks to the quality of these beers.

And it was pretty cool to meet Eric and Tony from CBC!

Absolutely incredible event. Can't say enough about it. Standouts for me were Pineapple (whoa was that ever ridiculously drinkable), Breakfast, and Habanero is always a favorite. Being able to take home a few half growlers for my wife was just icing on the cake.

What a great event! Thought the pineapple Bodhi was amazing! Really like the Kaffir and Breakfast as well. Also had the bartender make a half and half with the Habanero and Pineapple...all I can is WOW!! Maybe a future cask idea?!?

That is a goddamn brilliant idea, wish I'd thought of that! I have howlers of the tangelo, kaffir, breakfast, and pineapple-may have to experiment a bit. Awesome event. Then did a bottle share with some friends after, today has been rough...
