Somewhat new to craft, need recommendations

    Cannot agree more with these recommendations. Go with the Expedition if you want complexity, and go with the Founders Imperial if you want to taste the hops. Probably the most hop-forward of the big-name RISs. (Victory Storm King and Sweetwater Happy Ending are two other, distinctly American, takes on the hoppy stout.)

    Thanks for the recommendations guys!

    Going to be trying buying two new stouts tomorrow, if i don't like either of these and KBS then i am sure that i am not a stout lover.

    Will be buying Souther Tier Mokah and Firstone Parabola (one of the employees is saving one for me.

    Later i will be buying DFH 120 if it comes back in stock later, Rye of the Tiger, Lake Erie Monster, and Founders Centennial.


    Anyone ever try Wells Banana Bread Beer? Doubt it tastes good but just wondering.

    Check a Garry's Marketplace or head to the source for Carton Boat in Atlantic Highlands. A trip to Carton is worth it anyways.

    Sorry bud, but this forum is going to blow your mind. Half of what you think you want to try will be totally unattainable, ok 3/4. 'cause you don't live anywhere near it, wrong coast, wrong continent, only release it on every other leap year.

    My suggestion, get to know your local craft breweries, and when you travel, bone up on what is available where your headed, and forget the rest.
