Leffe Brune..The beer that got me into nice beer only has an 85.
Hoegaarden..Not so much underrated but its lower than allagash white and tons of other american brewed wit beers and is by far the cheapest and best IMO.

Since the increase with all the Session IPAs, there is one beer that gets overlooked well here in America. That is Fyne Ales Jarl. That thing is hoppy to boot and enjoyable for 3.8 ABV. Nice summertime Blonde Ale.

My rDev hits double digits for three beers:
    • Bad Elmer's Porter, Upland Brewing Company
    • Beerhive Tripel, New Holland Brewing Company
    • Espresso Imperial Russian Stout, Stone Brewing Co.
The first two, I think, fit the bill. The third is well loved by BAs, but was one of my favorite beers ever.

Dogfish Head Red & White, I absolutely love this brew. It's different but not out of the ballpark different like the typical Dogfish hate beers.

100% agreed. It's really a shame it doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

Going strictly off my review deviations, for me it's Tiberian Inquisitor from Three Floyds. Had it on tap at Dark Lord Day and thought it was phenomenal.

Belching Beaver's Milk Stout Beaver's Milk has an 87 but I'd call it a world class Milk Stout.

we need to clarify if OP meant underrated or under hyped. if you mean under hyped, i'd say southern tier hop sun or hoegaarden, which are awesome, unique, wheat beers, which have decent ratings but are never spoken of. if you mean under rated, as in lowest ba score divided by the quality of the beer, i'd say blue point toasted lager, don't get me wrong i'd never pay for it but it's not bad and fairly unique, i've had much more hyped, highly rated beers that were undrinkable but get great reviews because their made by great breweries.

That's a fantastic Milk Stout. Quick story: A buddy of mine wanted to visit Belching Beaver during a trip to SD. I balked because I am opposed to breweries that have sexual-themed names. I begrudgingly went; and I ended up really liking the majority of their beers. In fact, they had a S'mores version of their Milk Stout that was incredible. Very enjoyable beers. Glad to see that bottles of their Milk Stout and their Peanut Butter Milk Stout are hitting shelves in north OC.

Even though it has a 91, Modern Times Blazing World. Similar style to Nugget Nectar and probably just as good or better.

My opinion is that after the lawsuit with Great Lakes and the taking back of the name "Alchemy" which Great lakes used and bottled one of the best IPAs in the civilized world, that widmer is trying to capitalized off the name recognition, and it will work ...for a while
