    Its that time again,
On May 17th, to finish off American Craft Beer Week for 2014, we are bringing back our Breakfast Pancake Yard Sale. Starting at 8 am, we will open our doors to 28-30 delicious Coffee stouts and other types of Coffee beers to sample. The kitchen will be serving some awesome breakfast plates with pancakes, eggs and all sorts of other assorted meats. The Yard Sale will also be setup up along side and out back of the Brick Store selling our overstock of glassware for dirt cheap. The yard sale will be set up and ready to go by 7:30 to let you browse while your waiting for us to open our doors. We also have brand new, custom t-shirts, posters and coffee mugs for sale. To give you a teaser of some of the beers, well have KBS 2012 & 2014, Terrapin Wake n' Bake '11 and '13, Terrapin Cinnamon Roll'd Wake n' Bake, Sweetwater Mean Joe Bean '11, Great Divide Espresso Yeti '10, Founders Breakfast '10 and a host of local coffee beers from Orpheus, Twain's, Monday Night and Jekyll to name a few. Really looking forward to this since we took a year off to replenish our inventory, not gonna wanna miss this.

    Cheers,
    Timmy J

My manager said we might have to come in on this Saturday. If we do...

@Elvismunky Refresh my memory. Is the breakfast a ticketed event? Or first come first serve?

There weren't tickets in 2011, but the line had already formed at 7am when I rolled up. By opening time at 8am it was a zoo. Half the kegs were blown by the first half hour from what I recall.

In other words, get there early.

Not a ticketed event, but i would try and show up early. Everything will be 4oz pours, so you can try a bunch of the beers and the kegs should last a little bit longer.

Timmy, will bottlesharing be allowed before the doors open? Trying to remember protocol from 2 years ago

I remember a bunch of people showing up early and having a bottleshare outside before the doors opened. Once we open its going to be to chaotic to try and have one inside, but i don't see why not outside before we open, just need to be cleared off the tables by the time we open.

There was a bottle share in 2011, but it got a little ugly with people setting down their junk stuff they brought and then grabbing at rare stuff. There wasn't much organization with who was pouring, who was deciding who got what, or even if anyone should get anything if they didn't know the pourer. Definitely not a jab at BSP, just hard to do a bottle share in a big crowd with only a few bottles and no room, and everyone wanting to get a taste.

We can, we just have to do it in the alley way or in someone's car.

I was just there on Thursday night visiting some friends while down on business, and spoke to Lee (seemed like he knew what was up). He said they were also going to have a keg of Mexican Cake for this breakfast. He mentioned a few other things but I can't remember them. Sounds like fun!

I think I will go this year. My lady is out of town and I'm not working until 3pm, so a good boozing early sounds good.

First time going and very excited. Are kids allowed, welcomed or just showered in beer if they show up?

Orpheus isn't going to be ready on time, but we will have a new offering for Three Taverns, Dubbel shot, a coffee oatmeal dubbel and Creature Comforts Reclaimed Rye with coffee.
