What about DFH 120, Technically DFH calls it a Double IPA. Pretty dam good if you ask me.

Also had PTE was not impressed.

For me, Marin White Knuckle and Kern 5th Anni. are tied for the best ever.

There is no right or wrong answer here, it just boils down to preference when you get to the upper eschelon of the style.

For me I prefer the below in no specific order:

    PtY & PtE
    Alpine's Bad Boy
    Dreadnaught
    Citra
    Heady Topper
    Poorman's DIPA

eh, I tried that. You start running out of money quickly with it being $10 a bomber. Totally worth it though

Until Triple IPA is represented more or has it's own categorization on this site, I'll just call them DIPAs. I actually wasn't crazy about Hoptologist. Simtra is the only one of their beers that really blew me away, but man, did it ever!

Heady Topper beats out PtE and Double Jack for me.

Nelson is an IPA, but it's better than a lot of DIPA.

    Cheers.....

Im still a PtE guy with Surly Abrasive in a very close second. Currently, PtE > HT because all the HT traders I have endured want well above $4$ just because of its gaining popularity.
