Question about Deschutes beer in PA

    I have heard this brewery can now be found in central PA. Would anyone know what would be the closest dist that would carry them coming from the Poconos, PA ?

    I only know of Harrisburg, PA and Lancaster, PA having it so far. But thats because I was looking in the stores at the time. So I'm sure there are more out there closer to you!

    Not really. Ive only been there a few times. If you want a place closer though I was just on the Deschutes website and there is some being sold in Allentown, PA

    not stocked in Danville or bloomsburg (off of 80) from my knowledge. perhaps it can be found in Wilkes barre/nepa. regardless, I'd like to know too!

    My brother is the Deschutes specialist (I have no idea what his actual title is) for Ace Distributing in Lancaster County..... sends text to brother.... Anxiously awaiting a reply.

    I don't know how broad the Poconos are; are you due north of Allentown? There's plenty of Deschutes in Philly suburbs nearer than Lancaster.

    Deschutes has a pretty good beer finder on their site. Looks like Bucks, Berks, and Montgomery county all get it. http://www.deschutesbrewery.com/find

    My brother said Wet Your Whistle" which is near Denver, PA is a beer distributor that carries cases of Deschutes.

    There is no Deschutes in NEPA. Closest I've seen is Al's of Hampden getting some Mirror Mirror.

    I've seen Deschutes at Al's, The Brass Rail in Campbelltown, and Good-Ta-Go in Chambersburg. I happen to be enjoying an Obsidian Stout right now. Delicious!

    Thanks all for the input. I believe I found the closest place from my area which would be Beer City in Quakertown. Nice woman who runs the place. I picked up their variety case.
