930 ish on Bourbon Vanilla, 850 ish on Cognac Muerte, 650 ish on Cognac, and supposedly about 1000 on Bourbon.

Keep in mind bottle count is probably not the best indicator of the mythical "trade value" on this one, as most people who did win one of these ended up with only one, or paid a nice chunk of money for an extra...

Yeah, like ten extra bucks to the surely many who had no interest in shelling out $50 for a bottle of beer. These beers don't need any more help getting hyped.

I wish I could have found those people. The only ones I saw were buying/selling extras for $200 a pop.

I can't say for sure what happened at this year's event, but I know of a couple guys last year that bought winning tickets for $10.

2 winners out of thousands... can you be sure?

But I get your point, the same guy was at the beginning and end of the line this year flaunting cash without much success. It's not easy to get the variants, but it could have happened.

FWIW, I have no interest in hyping these beers, as I have actually been trying to trade for one (or a couple) myself:

All I'm going by is what I witnessed at DLD. The cheapest I heard of winning tickets being sold was $30.

I heard of one being given away for free. Person probably just didn't want to admit to how much they shelled out for the scratch-off.

FWIW people this year were keenly aware of the value of the BA varietals, one person said they believed they were worth $600, that turned out to be high by a factor of 2-3x. Since my ticket was a loser and the guy in front of me was a winner I gave him $50 to swap tickets when he yelled out "who wants to buy my winner"

I had not intended to buy any winners but seeing as how I had bad luck and all my friends had good luck, not wanting to be the odd man out when the opportunity presented itself I thought why the hell not?

Just sharing the story for a data point.
