DFW Beer Advocate Map (For Tastings, Etc)

Thanks Shashi, I knew I could get it filled, just wanted to make sure I could bring it full for everyone to enjoy. Once we set a definite date I will make sure my Tired Hands guy is sending to me that week.

 

Matt, is there anyway you can schedule it for a day when you'll be out of town? That's the day I vote for.

Edit: Actually I could have made the last one but unless you wanted to be my beer bitch then being on crutches would have been a disaster. I guess I could have started swinging my crutches at people to get out of the way when I wanted to try a beer on the other end of the table.

I shouldn't half joke at times like this. 100% bummer. It will be very difficult to find another place to allow all of us to bring our own beer. But like you said, I never leave McKinney anymore. Hmmm...

Anyone have any suggestions of places we could do this? I am trying to think and coming up blank.

 

-Party bus bottle share anyone!!? ....Bathrooms might present an issue.
-Byob strip club bottle share!!?

-A nice day and a big picnic table at the park could be perfect. But with that there is always a risk of bad weather.

-We could rent an inexpensive party venue that is byob and take up collections, this seems like it might be the best option knowing Texas weather.

 

Not many of us, but for Parker Counyy/west Tarrant County BAs - Shricks, just east of Weatherford, had some cellar reserve Old Stock 2011 today

 

Im trying to get my hands on 2 bottles of the 2011 old stock cellar reserve for my husbands birthday. Where exactly did you find them at?

 

Shrick's liquor store. Exit 414 on I-20...north side of the road.

 

Maybe someone here works for a hotel? Let's see if we can use one of the conference/event rooms if we could get hooked up with a good rate.

 

I think Hotel conference room or apartment party hall thing are the best ideas. I know the apartment things can sometimes be rented super cheap, especially if its during the day and we are out for night.

 

Can someone plz add me at 360 and Broad in Mansfield? I can't figure out how to add myself on this app....I'm also willing to travel for tastings and events every now and then. :-)

 

I'm beginning to like it here...I've only been here less than two weeks. We've met before...at Freetown I believe. Those trips can be at blur at times....lol
