Alpine Distribution in NorCal - Its here!

City Beer had 12oz for $5 and Toronado had pints for $6. Not bad prices and it tastes pretty much identical to the Nelson I've had on draft at the brewery and O'briens and in bottles. Delicious.

 

Anyone in San Jose...Bibo's Pizza on Bird has pints for $4.75. Cheapest price I've seen (O'Flaherty's is charging $8 for a 25cl Chimay goblet...) and the slices there are killer.

 

Just a heads up that Duet was on at City Beer last night.

 

Duet is on right now at Beachwood Seal Beach. So awesome.

Duet also just started pouring at Ale Arsenal in San Carlos.

Plenty of Nelson at City Beer Store. They said they had 4 more kegs in the back when I was there on Friday. Keep it flowing! Also saw it at The Willows last night.

 

Plenty of Nelson still around in the South Bay too. Haven't seen any Duet yet

 

And meanwhile, the East Bay remains Alpine-less, afaik.

 

Yeah, we always seem to be last to the party.

 

It could just be the result of having Alpine so close to home, but this particular batch of Duet is tasting especially good!

 

DBI is the distributor. They don't have a presence in Alameda, CC, Marin, and Sonoma Counties.

 

Sonoma County is still patiently waiting...

 

Loving all this Alpine. It's suddenly absurdly easy to find in SF. Both Nelson and Duet have not disappointed.

 

Yum. . . .a special cask of Amarillo dry hopped Duet with pineapple.

 

Why is this deliciousness not in my glass?

Yeah, it's been a little annoying. Keep an eye on Hog's Apothecary and Hop Grenade in Concord when they open. (and Beer Rev obviously) I think it'll turn up soon...
